Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner Review & Swatches
How cute is the new Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner? Looks like a little Valentine’s Day chocolate doesn’t it? Tell me you just didn’t squeal a little looking at it.
You did right?
Me too!
Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Smudge Liner is one of two limited edition shades of gel eyeliner which can be used as a base for shadows, as a liner, or smudged across the lash line for a sultry look! It comes in a rich dark chocolate or a milky chocolate shade (the shade featured in this review).
After trying out this one I decided I wanted to go ahead and indulge in the darker one as well! Not only is it cute it’s a rather fun little product. This has a gel-like eyeliner consistency and applies easily without skipping or tugging. The real joy is how easily it smudges out after application. It doesn’t technically set after applying so this gives you plenty of time to play around with it and smudge it out to your hearts content.
Don’t get me wrong I have any number of gel eyeliners from many of my favorite brands like Bobbi Brown and MAC. This is however, super cheap and seems to have a really easy to use formula that just excels at smudging easily without any effort or know how. It has that type of formula that’s virtually foolproof. It sets after a minute or so and seems to wear for me long and strong without fading or creasing as the day progressed.
I LOVE this.
It’s cute, it’s practical, and it makes my big brown eyes look rather sultry.
Do buy it.
Muse Approved.
Many E-bay sellers have it for small chunks of change ($8 or so).
