Etude House Water Color Blusher Review & Swatches

Etude House Water Color Blusher

Looking for a lightweight blush for Summer? The new Etude House Water Color Blush might be the ticket for you! This cute little blusher is housed in a little oil paint tube. Cute right? Is your inner artist loving this packaging?

These just recently launched in Korea in four shades for Spring/Summer 2013.

Take a look!

Etude House Coral Water Color Blusher

These have a creamy texture and give cheeks a very natural hint of color. The formula has a thicker, creamier texture that you can dot easily onto cheeks and blend out to add just the right amount of color to skin. They are virtually fool-proof to apply and make for an easy application.

Coral

For a cream blush they have an excellent wear time on my cheeks. Typically blush sticks and creams slide off my face rather quickly but this formula acts as more of a stain as I can get through my entire day without a touch up. Color stays true without fading away quickly even in a warmer climate. I wore the shade all day last Saturday in around 70 degree weather, outside, and didn’t have a single hiccup! The lasted through my day of running around and well into my night of running around without reapplying!

They are very tiny in size and I find the color has a sheerer color pay off but they do build. However, if you a tube daily I can see it going really quickly!

Overall, they are a cute blush for Summer. They aren’t terribly pigmented but they do give cheeks a very natural finish that looks quite lovely!

Definitely a cream blush worth picking up!

I got mine off E-bay from seller F2PlUS1 (not affiliated) for $7.99.

I purchased this item.

That blush looks beautiful! I’ve been looking for a nice cream blush in that kind of shade, so I think I might just buy it.

  • Louise

I’ve been eyeing this product since I first found out about it. The colour you picked out looks gorgeous on you 🙂 Would have been nice seeing you try on the lavender shade!

  • Judy

I may have just ordered all four shades because I couldn’t decide… 😀

Ooh, this reminds me of the Too Cool For School Art Class Blusher. I have dehydrated skin so I’ve always avoided cream blusher, scared that it would cake on me. But this was perfect – I think I may have to pick up the Etude House one as well now!

Hey Muse, have you bought (and plan on reviewing) any cosmetics from the Too Cool For School brand? (I’m a total sucker for their packaging…)

    • the Muse

hi michaela don’t have the blush but did purchase a few bits from Too Cool For School ;-D very cute packaging indeed! I’ll review soon from my haul!

  • Sanakan

Muse, you say this isn’t terribly pigmented- but when I went to SG I hauled a ton of stuff (your product recs are much too convincing!), particularly Etude House. The choux base in mint and peach, and this. THIS. I dotted a blob half the size of my pinky nail onto my cheeks and ended up with enough pigment to cover half my face. LOL

It’s very bad of me but I’ve since ignored all my other blushes/stains etc since I got this. Simply adorable, and the artist in me squees over the little paint tube compared to Benefit’s chunky bottles.

wow you’re lucky girl! it was sheerer on me in all honesty but go you! ;-D good on ya! I really love the tube too ;D

I bought this in the lilac shade and it is SO sheer and really doesn’t build up well. I love the shade but I think I’m going to buy a lavender powder blush to layer with it.

Just thought I’d write in, in case anyone else was considering that shade.
