Flower Beauty Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara Review

Flower Beauty Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara

You gotta hand to Drew Barrymore, her Flower Beauty Makeup Collection sure does cover a wide range of products. Flower Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara is one of THREE mascaras launched with this makeup line.

Pretty darn impressive for a new makeup line dontcha think?

Flower Beauty Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara is available in six shades for $6.98 each. This is supposedly enriched with Vitamin C and E and Red Seaweed to strengthen lashes.

Flower Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara

I’m not really a huge fan of the mascara since it made my lashes a bit of the stiff, crunchy side. This mascara has a plastic applicator with a slide design that goes from thick to thinner towards the center. This style applicator actually easily captures the inner and outer corner lashes easily and pulls them upwards and out. Unfortunately, although nifty, the applicator doesn’t really do much in regards to volume. The results are merely mediocre and the mascara just leaves crunch behind for me. It removes easily and wears well without smudging or smearing through the day and provides ok length and fairly nice curl but the volume aspect is pretty disappointing especially for a mascara with “volume” in the name!

Flower Beauty Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara Before After

Unfortunately, this mascara would have been a great budget pick but doesn’t really do much for lashes. I found it a disappointing formula. Hopefully some of the other Flower mascaras are better than this!

Anyone try it?

Love to hear your thoughts!

I purchased this item.

Muse, I think you might have gotten your mascaras mixed up.

The picture and review are actually for the Flower Extreme Measures Lengthening Mascara.

The Flower Lash Knockout Volumizing Mascara is actually in a green tube with a different brush.

I only noticed because I am using the green version and LOVING it! Lots of volume and not a stiff, crunchy lash in sight! (my roomie is loving the Flower Zoom-In Ultimate Mascara)

It’s easy to mix up the Flower products though, as they are lacking in the labeling department. I have one of the lip glosses and don’t know it’s name because I tossed the plastic wrap not realizing the name is nowhere on the tube!

Try the zoom-in mascara- it has a cool changing brush that’s amazing!

That’s disappointing.. I’ve been using the Zoom-in mascara and I LOVE it! Maybe your next go-around with Flower mascara will be successful!!

I’m with the other 2 commenters, based on their recommendations I went to Walmart yesterday and picked up Zoom-in and it’s AMAZING. I can’t say the cool wand actually does anything but it really does delivery both length and thickening like it describes (I curl my lashes pretty hard beforehand so I can’t speak for the curling claim).

I’m confused. When I looked this up on the Wal-mart website and in store the “Volumizing” mascara was in a chunky bright green tube.

I got that and the brush and formula are totally different then what’s shown here. This looks like the mascara they had labeled as “Lengthening”.
