Missha Jewel Star Eyes Review & Swatches
Love MAC Paint Pot in Let Them Pop? Allow me to introduce you to Missha Jewel Star Eyes in Orange Lady then! This is a bright popping orange with tons of sparkle.
The perfect treat for Spring eyes.
Missha Jewel Star Eyes are a dense textured mousse cream eyeshadow with a ton of sparkle. These come in a tiny plastic pot and are meant to be applied with finger tips.
The mousse texture has a firm to the touch formula that applies and blends easily on lids. They are LOADED with sparkle so a little goes a very long way. One of the greatest things about the shadow is the fact they have so much pigment. Typically a sparkle like this overpowers any real color but the color translates beautifully here so you can a very pretty shade of orange on lids with a heavy duty sparkle finish.
They apply very easily and blend out just as easily. Considering the texture has a certain density I find they set fairly fast but you still have room for layering more color on top should you desire. I apply with fingers but I’m definitely a bit of a germ-a-phobe so don’t particularly love this application method but it is the best and easiest way to get the shadow onto lids.
Another deeply impressive feature would be the long wear. These don’t fade, nor crease on my drier eyes and wear well over a 12 hour period without a hiccup.
Overall, between the sparkle and gorgeous orange shade of this shadow I think I might just be in love. Don’t love the orange? No worries Missha Jewel Star Eyes come in a variety of other colors.
I got mine directly from Korea but they are all over E-bay and the internet for as little as eight to ten dollars each.
Well worth picking up a shade or two if you’re a sparkle shadow fan.
Gorgeous!
