I believe there’s a way to prevent hotlinked images by adding a few lines to your .htaccess file. I’m not sure who (you?) developed this blog, but you can let him/her know about it and just edit the .htaccess file on your host server.
Google “prevent hotlinking .htaccess” to find instructions on how it’s done. Here’s one that seems pretty straightforward: https://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/1694/Prevent+hotlinking+with+a+.htaccess+file#gs
But there are also more description instructions that give you more options:
Good luck =].
too much of a PITA to do so without a google exclusion and causing an endless loop therefore crashing server, already tried it and removed it due to these issues :-/ actually could have bypassed the loop problem, there’s a fix for that, but for some reason even with a google exclusion images weren’t being crawled…! I’ve been considering just blocking certain urls to locations I know it is happening
first time I read about hot-linking, had no idea what it was, and actually not sure If I did understand what it means. The only thing I know ,it seem to be not cool.So I hope you can resolve your problem soon and smooth.
