Smashbox Photo Matte Anti-Shine for Summer 2013

Smashbox Photo Matte Anti-Shine

Take a look at the Smashbox Photo Matte Anti-Shine that launches for Summer 2013, it quite reminds me of my favorite Urban Decay De-Slick in a Tube.

Hey, even dry skin can use a little shine relief come Summer. I know my forehead likes to smile shiny-like in the warm Summer sun so a little mattifying is always in order.

Take a look!

This cream-gel formula instantly absorbs oil and promises to minimize the appearance of fine pores while leaving skin matte for up to eight hours. Wear it under or over makeup or dab it on for touch ups on the go to keep oil and shine from your face!

It’s $25 and available now at www.smashbox.com

I personally ADORE De-Slick in a Tube so if this is anything like that formula it’ll easily win my heart!

How do you keep oil-free in the Summer?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I thought they’d discontinued Anti-Shine and I was so upset. It’s been my Holy Grail for oil control for over a decade. Nothing works as well for me for keeping my skin shine-free.

    I’ve tried so many primers that I can actually come up wiht a doctrine on the topic 😀 In fact, I was a fan of Avon Magix for quite a long time, since I discovered the Revlon Photoready Primer (the white one) – it’s the most amazing of them all!

    This is going to be worth looking into. I’ve always used Milk of Magnesia as my primer, but I can’t use it with my Kat Von D Foundation. It’s too thick to work well with MoM.

    As for keeping oil free in the summer? That’s an impossible task for my oil glands in Florida summer heat. As little makeup as possible! And oil blotting sheets and powder to touch up. D;

    I’ve heard so many good things about the matte anti shine primer. I’ve never used anything actially by smashbox, but I know it is suposed to be top notch. I might have to treat myself this weekend 🙂 x
