A Little Bit About My QVC All Access Beauty Picks
Set your Tivo because starting Friday, May 10th at 11PM EST QVC All Access Beauty starts off with 25 full hours devoted entirely to beauty. I’m actually away this weekend so I’ll have to be sure to set up my recorder in case I miss anything I absolutely have to have!
This exciting event will feature breakthrough products, special values and beauty tips straight from the faces behind the brands like Kate Somerville, Mally Roncal, Ken Paves, Chaz Dean, Jamie Kern Lima and more.
Beauty gadgets, skincare, makeup, and more from your favorite brands like Laura Geller, Philosophy, Tarte, Bobbi Brown, Mally Beauty, etc…etc…will be all featured during the All Access Beauty premiere.
As you know QVC actually asked me to pick out 12 products that I absolutely love and use daily. Some of you asked, “12? How the heck did you keep it to 12?” I know right? QVC must be mental thinking they can trust me to pick JUST 12 products. But I did it and I’m quite proud of myself and I’m welcoming pats on the back for being so awesome about picking a mere 12 products….!
I didn’t really have to put a lot of thought into those 12 products because they are staples of what I use daily or products I reach for a whole lot. I thought I’d share why I choose some of these products and what makes them so special so jump ahead to take a peek!
Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
I’m a busy person and as much as I love a long shower in the morning sometimes it isn’t in my schedule. Seriously, I need more hours in the day to get everything done so I don’t have precious minutes to spend in the shower. For example, my sister can spend 30 minutes in the shower. As for myself, if I can shave off a few minutes and save myself time I’m doing just that. That’s why I love Wen Cleansing Conditioner. It’s an all in one step to get my hair super clean, super fast! This not only cleans my hair but it gives me such a deep down conditioning so my hair is left super soft and tamed (I have super long, wavy hair) sans crazy frizz. Plus it shaves off a few minutes off my shower, time I can dedicate to you guys and the site! Wink!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
How long has it been since I originally reviewed Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer? A year maybe? It’s been the longest relationship I’ve ever had with a concealer. You see, I’m a concealer junkie. Like I need to tell you that. And don’t get me wrong I still shop any and all new concealers but I come back to It’s incredible concealer again and again and again. This is so incredibly pigmented, blends oh so easily, and covers ALL my under eye woe giving me the impression of eight hours of sleep on a mere five. I love this stuff and it tops my HG (holy grail) list with no end in sight.
Laura Geller Tropic Hues Baked Blush N Brighten
I discovered Tropic Hues years ago and to this very day I still love the color. It’s kinda an apricot version of NARS Orgasm with shimmering swirls of orange, pink, and coral this is one of Laura’s most unique shades and gives such a beautiful glow to cheeks!
Mally Poreless Face Defender
Poreless Face Defender has made an appearance across a wide variety of brands in some way, shape, or form but Mally’s formula remains my favorite. This is like taking your favorite liquid primer, melting it down, and pressing it into a compact. Sounds odd? Maybe! But the dense to the touch primer smooths onto your face and completes any look with pure flawless perfection!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Anti-Aging Cream
I actually don’t have redness in my cheeks but I decided to give Bye Bye Redness Cream a chance when a few readers asked to see swatches and thoughts on the product. This concentrated cream is a makeup god sent for those who do suffer from redness as it will conceal it easily! As for the rest of us? Well, you can still use it to perfect as it offers gorgeous, photoshopped skin with a few swipes of the included brush so don’t limited yourself, buy it anyway if you don’t have redness as it works fabulously as a lightweight foundation that perfects skin!
Dr. Denese HydroShield Eye Serum
I’ve been using Hydroshield Eye and Face Serum for too many years to count. Several years ago when I first started noticing my eyes were very dry and I was having issues with concealer due to that dryness I started searching for a moisturizing eye cream. Unfortunately, not many have won me over and the search still continues but Hydroshield is one of those products I still reach for nightly. I typically use a bit under my eyes at night, follow up with eye cream (you don’t have to but I do), and my concealer smooths under my eyes without a hiccup come the morning. This restores so much needed moisture under my eyes!
It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Hydrating Sheer Lipstick Trio
I’ve been on a lip butter kick for a while as you know and leave it to It Cosmetics to create some really beautiful sheer lipsticks with a balm-formula that’s lightweight yet has the coverage of a lipstick!
Bobbi Brown Concealer Kit
As a fan of Bobbi’s concealer kit (three shades and a powder) which I originally purchased from QVC a few years ago I was quick to get on board with Bobbi’s newest concealer launched a year or so ago. This is simplicity at its best. It combines Bobbi’s super creamy, emollient concealer and a setting powder for long, strong all day wear that corrects, conceals, and perfects eyes in a few simple steps!
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Volumizing Mascara
I think little needs to be said about Tarte’s legendary Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara formula as many of you already love and use it don’t you? Volume check. Length check. Dramatic lashes double check! It’s one of the few mascaras that actually delivers longer AND fuller lashes with dramatic results. I don’t have many HG (holy grail) mascaras but Lights, Cameara, Lashes! is definitely one!
Philosophy Miracle Worker Set
I’ve been a Miracle Worker user since it was introduced and swear by it. The pads, the brightener, the serum, the eye cream…anything related to the Miracle Worker line of skincare is something I use nightly. I swear by the Miracle Worker Pads for restoring the glow to my skin and brightening up my entire complexion and I blame them for the flawless look of my skin. I blame the eye cream for blurring the appearance of my finer lines and depuffing my tired eyes. And the moisturizer is the cure all for my drier skin. Yeah, I use a ton of different skincare products and test even more but I ALWAYS make sure I end my night with this regime!
Tarte Amazon Butter Lipstick Trio
Tarte introduced their Butter Lipstick in a QVC Special Value Set and it quickly become a fond favorite of mine. I was aghast that they didn’t do an entire range colors. Lightweight, buttery tinted color that moisturized my lips? Yes please! I need a whole host of shades. But I’ll settle for a trio of them, in a set, available exclusively at the Q.
It Cosmetics CC Cream (not yet on my QVC favorite page but coming soon)
It doesn’t surprise me that It Cosmetics created more of a BB Cream formula than a CC one with this launch. It is definitely known for pigment when it comes to their base products and their new CC Cream corrects as it offers full, perfected coverage in a highly moisturizing formula.
I HOPE that I turned you onto some of these products and if I have and you do use them I’d would love to hear. I put a lot of heart into products that I really love and these are some of these products that really deserved a rave and a place on my All Access Beauty page.
