Bobbi Brown Golden Bronze Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick Review & Swatches
Ahhh I adore a good Golden Bronze or ahem brown! Bobbi Brown Golden bronze Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick is a newly launched, limited edition shade released with Bobbi’s new Nude Beach Collection. Actually there are two new Long Wear Cream Shadow Sticks, Golden Bronze, being the warmer and more sultry shade of the two.
Take a look!
Just like Vanilla, Golden Bronze is an absolute must have shade. They call it a golden bronze but it has elements of brown, gold, and a little bit taupe even making it quite an unusual color and beautifully flattering for big brown eyes.
Bobbis Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks were recently introduced and kinda a new way to experience her Long Wear Cream Eyeshadows which are available in a pot packaging. I think the swivel up pencil design makes these more portable and easy to travel with and heck if I’m honest easier to apply as well. These have a texture that is most comparable to Laura Mercier Caviar Pencils. They are soft, creamy, and very easly to apply and blend out. They have a slightly tacky finish but it isn’t uncomfortably. The formula dries down fairly fast so you need to work fast to blend out or build (not that you’ll need to build much as Golden Bronze is incredibly pigmented).
I find they crease within a five hour period but you can pat them gently and this will resolve the issue. I think the pot version wears a little more longer for me at around eight hours.
.
Golden Bronze has a unique metallic finish with a certain sparkle to it that reflects beautifully on eyes and in my opinion a must have shade.
I’d definitely recommend indulging. Like Vanilla and Sand Dune, this is a shade that just works well in the Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick formulation!
