Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint Summer 2013

Yay Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tints are back for Summer 2013. Sheer Color Cheek Tint had a big push a few years ago when Bobbi released them in their own little collection and they make a reappearance from time to time here and there. The last time I tried them was in the Bobbi Brown Nautical Collection.

The great news is they are a little bigger this time around and available in some gorgeous shades for Summer.

Take a peek!

Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint Blush

Sunlight Nude, Nude Beach, Summer Pink

Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint ($26) are available in three limited edition shades in the Bobbi Brown Nude Beach Collection that recently launched. If you want ’em best get ’em now as the aren’t available year round sadly.

These chubby twist up tubes are super travel friendly and easy to apply. The gel stick formula makes for an easy to apply and blend out blush that adds a lovely hint of tint to cheeks and face. I always found blushes like this idiot proof as it’s simply a swipe and go method of application. Considering how heavy handed I am with blush I love how easily I can apply these without any clown cheek issues.

And let’s face it cream blush is always a winner in the warmer weather as it has a more natural finish and wears lighter than powders.

I find these have a slightly dewy to the touch, tacky finish which allows them to wear fairly long on my cheeks. Cream blush tends to fade quickly on my skin but I can get a decent four to five hours of color prior to a touch up here.

These are actually a smidge bigger than what Bobbi has launched in the past weighting in at 0.21 oz versus the older, smaller sticks of 0.13oz.

The summer shades are more about bronze but there is a very fun pink as well. I think I’m always so fixated on pigmented blushes I forget sometimes that sheerer more natural shades of blush are just as nice and Summer Pink, available in this collection, is such a color.

Shades:

  • Nude Beach (golden pink bronze)
  • Summer Pink (sheer bright pink)
  • Sunlight Nude (golden pearl pink)

They are available now at Bobbi Brown counters or online at BobbiBrown.com

i always have issues with multiplies aimee, they fade on me super fast, too much sparkle…def like bobbi’s more, gel formula is easier to apply, less shimmer, and lasts longer ;D

These seem similar to NYX cheek sticks except with shimmer

I stepped out of my wheel house and bought the summer pink (normally I would have gone for the sunlite nude or nude beach) which as far as I can tell doesn’t have any sparkle. I’m able to use it as blush and also I use it on my lips. It lasts on my lips longer than gloss so that’s a win too.
