Bobbi Brown Tube Tints

The Bobbi Brown Nude Beach Collection brings a selection of Bobbi Brown Tube Tints in four limited edition shades for Summer wearing!

These sheer, beach-y tints are perfect for wearing alone or over your favorite lipstick products but I promise they are tinted enough to wear completely solo and still keep you happy.

Available in an array of bronze-y sunkissed shades these are an ideal pick for nude Summer-y lips.

Take a peek!

Tube Tints ($19) are a thick, emollient flavorless tinted lip balm slash gloss with a glossy finish. These comes in a retro tube packaging with a slanted applicator for application.

Naked, Bronzed Pink, Pink Cloud, Air Kiss

The texture is a cross between a balm and a gloss all in one. They have the consistency and wear of a balm in the fact they are thicker with a balmier texture but they have the shine and slight tint of a gloss. The formula is heavier on lips but keeps them quite hydrated through the wear and well after they wear away lips are left feeling soft and moisturized. The soft tint they lend lips is translucent with a jelly-like finish that’s soft yet makes itself known on lips. They aren’t terribly pigmented but lend enough color to enhance the shade of your own natural lip look. In some cases the shades are opaque enough to have a true to tube tint on lips. Although thicker these aren’t sticky or tacky however, that thick texture lets itself be known on lips.

I was surprised they didn’t contain a small amount of SPF as well as they pretty much cover all the bases for a nice balm slash gloss for pool and beach wearing.

If you like thicker glosses with a moisturizing feel and a nice tint these are for you. I actually liked them a lot however, I should warn you that they are heavier on lips so that might be a deal breaker for some. As for me, I thought they had a really pretty natural finish and I personally don’t have enough lips products like this in my stash that lend a more nude finish to my lips.

I am loving the way bronzed pink looks on the lips, I might have to check it out !

So, two totally different products, I know, but if you had to pick: Should I get one of these or that Dior “lip plumping” gloss you loved?

depends on what you are looking for in a gloss product christina, they are really different products 🙂 can’t really be compared. if you want more nude lips with a sunny glow-y finish in a thicker gloss I’d get these. If you want a lip plumper go with the Dior.

They all look great but I do think Bronzed Pink is the winner as far as being a little different. I don’t like most bronzey lips because they either go too brown, too frosty, or just plain TOO – lol. This is a really nice metallic nude without being over the top.
