Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer Review & Swatches

Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer

I recently purchased Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer in the hopes it would be a creamy, emollient concealer for under my eyes. It’s actually marked as more of a facial concealer but honestly, I don’t really use concealer on my face so I thought I’d just attempt a test out under my eyes.

Here are a few thoughts!

Innisfree Perfect Concealer

Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer is available in two shades and comes in a small yet generously sized pot (generous due to the pigmentation). It’s actually a denser texture with a tackier feel so it doesn’t really apply well under eyes and a fair bit of tugging is involved to get it under eyes correctly. On the upside if you warm up it up very well it’ll blend out more smoothly. To do this I simply dip my ELF Studio Concealer Brush into the pot and swipe the brush up and down the back of my arm. This thins the formula out and warms it up into an easier to apply formula.

However…even using this method the denser texture definitely isn’t meant for under eye issues. This is a solution for me so I’m not wasteful and tossing this into the Makeup Graveyard.

The dense formula is definitely more forgivable on your face for concealing blemishes, darkness, or other issues you may wish to conceal. A small amount goes a very long way at concealing problem areas and can be gently patted into place and set with powder. Pigmentation is excellent so a tiny bit is plenty to conceal minor problem areas.

All in all I wouldn’t buy Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer for under eye woe however, if you’re shopping a more dense formula with a drier yet emollient texture that will work well on problematic oily skin I’d suggest this one.

It’s available on Sasa.com

Anyone try it?

when I was in an innisfree shop in Korea, the salesperson said this isn’t really for the under eyes, instead rather for blemishes. innisfree do have a separate eye concealer which I also purchased and the consistency is more liquid and less dense. so I guess you nailed it when u said that this is better for blemishes! thanks for the review.
