Innisfree Mineral Rose Marbling Blusher Review & Swatches
Unfortunately for me Innisfree Mineral Rose Marbling Blusher is all about the pretty. This pretty little rose shaped blush is gorgeous to look at but the performance of it left something to be desired.
I never learn with this marble blushes almost ALL of the ones I own from a variety of Korea brands are typically too frosty to really act as a blush. Perhaps a highlighter? But the glow they produce is just too overkill for me.
Take a peek!
Remember when the Body Shop did those stunning Rose Flower Blushers a few years ago? Hell, they had that entire Moroccan Rose Collection…god, I miss those gorgeous limited edition collections The Body Shop used to do!
Sad sigh!
If you thought those blushes were beautiful I’m positive you’ll delight in Innisfree Mineral Rose Marbling Blusher. This has a raised, 3D design in the shape of a pretty blooming rose. The marbleized design is made up of a pink rose with subtle beige and taupe veining. Although it might appear larger it’s actually smaller in compact than a MAC Blush but still you can fit a kabuki or bushier blush brush into the well without any problems.
I own so many marble blushes from Korea it’s borderline ridiculous but I never seem to learn my lesson when it comes to them. Most of them aren’t really blushers at all but more highlighters. This falls true for this one as well. If you like glowing, slightly frosty blushes this might be for you. I have a fuller, rounded face and I found the glow this produces with the lack of pigment just isn’t my deal. It’s a very frosty texture which means it clings to drier areas (and will accentuate larger pores if you have them). I think applied correcting some might find the subtle pink glow it produces very pretty. I happen to not be one of those people unfortunately.
On the upside…it is rather adorable isn’t it? I was thinking perhaps a little cheek stain and a little dusting of this on top might look nice as a highlighter of sorts!
Love it?
You can get it from F2Plus1 on E-bay (not affiliated).
