K-Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealer Review & Swatches
I purchased K-Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealers a while back ago, tried them once, and proceeded to toss them into the makeup graveyard.
At the time they were just too dry for me….flash forward a few months later and I decided to give them another try. I’m glad I did because they actually aren’t half bad with proper prepping and priming.
Take a peek!
K-Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealer is the type of product that you need a little time and patience to apply. These come in three color correcting formula that address several different eye issues.
Natural Beige, Yellow Beige, and Orange Beige
Natural Beige is the shade that is most suitable for many eye types in the medium shade range. This is a color conceals the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, and tiredness. This is the shade I personally prefer for my own issues.
There’s also a Yellow Beige and an Orange Beige. These two shades are best for correction such as dark circles, blood vessels, etc…if you have severe dark circles both these shades are excellent ways to correct and conceal them.
These are VERY concentrated concealers so a little goes a very long way as they are very pigmented. I’d say pigmentation is close to my beloved It Cosmetics Concealer and even the creamy, thicker consistency is very much the same.
Although thicker these blend out fairly well and naturally without caking and creasing into my finer lines. I find they do take a good deal of prepping though to get them blended out correctly. I have drier eyes and the first time I tried them I felt like they looked awful. I quickly learned that I needed to spend extra time in my prep work prior to application. A good moisturizing eye cream is very important and key to the smoothest, most flawless finish here. A brush is also helpful for application and sheering the product out. I personally like and use the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush to swipe the concealer into place and I pat and blend gently with fingers.
The wear time proves excellent in both the warm and cooler weather. I can get a fair 12 hours without the concealer fading, disappearing, or creasing into my eyes.
Again, I must warn you, you’ll find proper prepping is key here so don’t skimp with eye cream and a bit of primer as well. Super aging, lined eyes might find the formula challenging to work with and in this case I recommend avoiding but those with oily lids or dry and fine or minor lines will benefit from such a pigmented formula.
If you struggle with severe dark circles I’d highly suggest trying any of these shades to correct and conceal the problem. The concealer is an excellent pick to brighten up and create a more flawless appearance under eyes.
I got mine from AlphabeautyUK on E-bay (not affiliated).
