Kiss Me Heroine Make Eye Makeup Remover Review

Kiss Me Heroine Make Eye Makeup Remover

Although I have plenty of favs I admit that Heroine Make Eye Makeup Remover tops my HG (holy grail) eye makeup remover list. So much so that I really wish it was something I could easily purchase in my local drugstore as going out of my way to stock up on it from Japan is such a chore sometimes.

Seriously, why can’t someone create a formula like this in our local drugstores?

This is a bi-phase remover but looking at it you’d never tell as it simply looks like cloudy water. Don’t let that fool you though. It’s probably one of the easiest ways to remove makeup quickly and efficiently with absolutely no tugging evolved. It has a knack for just breaking up ALL eye makeup including harder waterproof formulas and removing them in one simple swipe.

Heroine Make Eye Makeup Remover

I typically soak a cotton square with the remover, hold it against my eye for a few seconds, and swipe once. Done. It pretty much removes everything in a single pass and I can’t honestly say many makeup removers I’ve tried and own, both high end and low, can do the job that quickly. Best part is the fact it doesn’t sting, doesn’t leave my eyes oily, and doesn’t give me trippy cloudy vision!

LOVE this stuff.

Highly suggest trying it at least once.

It’s available at Sasa.com as well as from Adambeauty.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. there are 3 things I can NEVER own too much of 1. Pink Chanel Lip-glosses (have 30+) 2. Waterproof mascara (got 3 going at the moment). 3. Waterproof eye makeup remover that doesn’t make me feel blind. Must order this after I move. .adding it to my sasa wish list now. TYVM 🙂

I’ve been a loyal fan of Kiss Me volume mascara and its not until recently I ve discovered their eye make up remover !!

It’s brilliant like you said and saved me loads of money from buying high end products too!!
Kose’s Softymo point make up remover isn’t too bad too? Have you tried?

    Have a good day 😀

    • the Muse

hi judy so happy to hear you love it too! 🙂 I have but unfortunately not a fav of mine, doesn’t do well with wp mascara 🙁

You as well and happy almost weekend!

  • dark nyx

Sounds tempting but how does it fair with waterproof mascaras? Say…do MJ mascaras stand a chance or would it still require a cleansing oil?

    • the Muse

hey dark, addressed in the review that it removes waterproof makeup def will do great with mj 🙂

  • Denzen

This looks amazing! I’m currently using and running low on a boots botanics one, which they’v now discontinued unfortunately. Buttt I don’t even mind now as this will be the one I get once it runs out!
Btw muse, you said its a bi-phase remover… but don’t you need to shake it up to mix the oils/water together?? Or are they already mixed up so there’s no need to shake it? 🙂

    • the Muse

hi sahara, yes I shake before use so it mixes together. 🙂

How funny that I saw this today at Sasa tio. Maybe I’ll pick up a bottle befire I leave HK

  • dark nyx

Oh! Now I see it. Sorry, I guess I missed that part. ‘-_- But thanks for the review!

Oh I’ve eyed this before and I like Heroine line products but I tend to be hesitant with removers because the blurred vision scares me with some brands.. Does it have any strong scent? I’d just HAVE to get it if it has a floral scent to it haha

  • Emma

I can’t stand that funky vision after using the one I have. It’s the Target version of the Neutrogena oil free one and I have to say, I don’t like using it and end up just using a face wipe.
Are there any drugstore eye makeup removers you’ve found that don’t give you the annoying clouds??

    • the Muse

mmm the l’oreal green version is good and no cloudy issues 😀

  • Lita

    Hi, Muse!
This is my first comment here ever, although I’ve been reading your blog for I don’t know how long 😀
My favourite remover is L’oreal (blue bottle) -I see you mentioned green version. How is the Kiss Me compared to L’oreal? It’s the only one that -as you said- doesn’t sting, leave eyes oily or cloudy vision.

    • the Muse

hi lita! thanks for commenting today and reading musings 😀 <3! The green one is great but I think Kiss Me actually removes much more and it seems to do so easily without any tugging/swiping 🙂

  • Charlotte

I haven’t tried this but i absolutely SWEAR by the Heroine Make Mascara Remover! I think i’ll try this next, though ^^
