L’Oreal Miss Candy Colour Riche Le Gloss Review & Swatches
L’Oreal has four new, limited edition Colour Riche Le Gloss Lipglosses that released with their new Miss Candy Collection for Summer. I’m a HUGE fan of Le Gloss so of course, I hauled a few of them.
They actually have two unusual colors that might interest a few folks in a mint green and purple. I personally skipped them. Even if they are sheerer these colors probably would look evil dead like on my lips so I ended up going the safer route in my selections.
Take a peek!
I picked up Orange Dreamsicle and Princess Lolly both of which look very similiar to shades I already owned. However, a brief search through my stash didn’t reveal any dupes. Dunno why but both seem like shades I’ve seen/tried before.
I’d grab them on sale but wouldn’t pay full price for them as I think they were $7.49 each at Walgreens. Way too high for a gloss with very little pigment in my opinion. I’m not saying they aren’t worth a pick up because they are, I love the Le Gloss formula, but do it on sale if possible.
Princess Lolly and Dreamsicle
These have a little bit of a different texture compared to the standard line in my opinion. They have more of a jelly-like texture with a ton of glossiness and shine. They are sheer but they still manage to give lips a little hint of color. Like Orange Dreamsicle you can see a little tint of orange to it once and applied and Princess Lolly give lips a reddish tint. These typically last about two hours on my lips before I need a touch up. They have a vanilla sorta cupcake flavor and fragrance? I can’t put my finger on it but that’s the taste I get from them.
I think Le Gloss has always been a hit with me because of the lighter texture yet fuller color pay off they offered. These two shades follow a similiar path but fail in the pigment department and have a sheerer color pay off. That’s not a bad thing in my opinion as I already have plenty of pigmented Le Glosses to choose from so a few sheer in the mix is a welcome addition to my collection for Summer.
