MAC Sheer Seduction Lipstick Review & Swatches
MAC Sheer Seduction Lipstick is one of four new limited edition lipsticks launching with the Temperature Rising Collection from MAC for Summer 2013.
I love MAC’s Summer Collections as I always end up finding the perfect shades of warm lipstick in these releases and Temperature Rising is no exception since Sheer Seduction is my new fav lippie color of the moment.
Take a peek!
Sheer Seduction is a super sparkly shade of copper-y bronze. On my lips it almost has faint traces of orange to it. The color is gorgeous but the formula has a noticeably gritty texture when applied but it offers even, smooth application none the less. It’s the type of shade you’ll have to touch up to keep fresh as once it wears away it’ll leave little sparkly particles on your lips sans any color, not a pretty look! So do keep your hands on it for the best looking results.
Outside of the sparkle issues I think the color is stunning. It’ll compliment the Ripe for Love Blush released with this collection beautifully as well as the Lipglass in Soft Serenade. If you have warmer skin or you enjoy tanning/bronzing the color will look sizzling and has a certain metallic finish that give lips the look of liquid metal.
I admit the texture and formulation of the lipstick isn’t the most user friendly of MAC Lipsticks but the color is unique enough to warrant a pick up.
I think it’s stunning!
It’ll be available May 23rd on MAC Counters or look for it at least a week earlier, mid month, at maccosmetics.com
