MAC Temperature Rising Lipglass Review & Swatches

Sheer Serenade and Rhythm are two new MAC Lipglasses launched with the MAC Tempature Rising Collection for Summer 2013.

There are four total shades releasing with the collection but so far I’ve only had the pleasure of trying these two. I’m looking forward to checking out the shade Underdressed when the collection does finally launch.

Let’s take a look at these two shades.

These kinda remind me of Dazzleglasses versus MAC’s original Lipglass formulas as they have quite a sparkly formula. The sparkles almost appear flaky and they do leave behind a good deal of sparkle once they wear away on lips so you do need to be sure to touch them up as the day progresses otherwise you’ll be walking around with left over sparkle on your lips.

Soft Serenade is a soft neutral beige with flecks of pink pearl where as Rhythm is a more vivid magenta with pearl. Both are relatively sheerer shades with Rhythm having the better pigment of the two giving lips a lovely pop of magenta.

I think Soft Serenade is an ideal shade to pair up with Sheer Seduction Lipstick also available in this collection.
