Mally Pro-Tricks Eye Shadow Palette 19

Ahhh Mally Pro-Tricks Eye Shadow Palette wanna be best friends forever? This fabulously overstuffed compact features eyeshadows, eyeshadow base, and eyeliner along with one of Mally’s great eyeshadow blender brushes gifting you with all the essentials for creating some killer eye looks for Summer.

Eyeshadow palettes are one of my biggest weaknesses, ok, maybe just palettes in general. I’m kinda a blush girl and a palette girl. Two of my very favorite beauty fixes! I dunno what it is about palettes. The variety perhaps? I love getting more beauty and a palette always has a wide variety of shades to try out or even several products. Variety is the spice of life after all!

Mally Pro-Tricks Eye Shadow Palette 6

Mally Pro-Tricks Eye Shadow Palette contains nine eyeshadows, eyeshadow base, brown bone highlighter, and black eyeliner. They actually call the base and highlighter a lighter and dark shade modifier but honestly, the colors are SO pigmented in this palette you’d be hard pressed to get them any darker or lighter using a cream base.

Shades include:

  • Cappuccino
  • Girl Power
  • Sparkling Taupe
  • Brownstone
  • Pop Art Blue
  • Evergreen
  • Mally’s Glow
  • Wicked Plum
  • Dark Chocolate

This comes in a chunky green palette with a gorgeous full size mirror inside. I know you’re probably worried about the creams in the palette and what a mess they’ll be with powders. But no worries the creams have their own clear cover to keep them protected from the powders.

You get a range of velvet and matte finish shades here but nothing with sparkle or shimmer. The velvet shades are luxurious! They are super pigmented, easy to blend, and have a great wear. Even without primer I found they were crease-free and remained as intense as the first time I applied them. The velvety creamy texture is very easy to work without with absolutely no fall out. I did take note the matte shades are a little chalky but with a sponge applicator they apply smoothly and have just as intense a pigment as the velvets.

I don’t really like Mally’s cream base as I’ve tried and used it before as a single product and in a variety of palettes. This is a sheer nude cream base but I find it’s a little too thick to work well as a primer and I feel like my shadows crease faster when using it. It does however, brighten up eyes nicely used on its own. Also included a highlighter shade of sorts which can modify and tone colors down or act as a highbrow highlighter.

To complete the palette a solid black gel eyeliner is also included. Although the set comes with a bushier blending brush you have to supply your own eyeliner brush here. This applies easily enough but I found it smudged a little bit towards the end of my day. This unusual for me as typically eyeliner and mascara wear great on my drier eyes but this did have a little smudging as my day progressed which deserved mentioning.

You also get a Mally Blending Brush for application. I actually already have this brush from another palette I own and love it. Mally’s brushes have always been great for me and this is not exception. It has a longer bristles that are soft with no shedding issues. This an ideal brush for blending shades out especially in the crease area of your own!

Overall, it’s a rather great palette that deeply impressed me. The pigmentation is what was really incredible here and I think the swatches speak for this!
