Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation for Fall 2013

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation Fall 2013

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation ($8.99) is a new lightweight gel stick foundation formula with an anti-shine core for keeping oily skin at bay that will be launching shortly!

Although Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation launch in the Fall I have a little sneak peek at them today.

Take a peek!

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Sticks will be available in 12 oil-free shades with a formula that promises to control oil and prevent shine thanks to an anti-shine core that the foundation stick surrounds. The soft, gel formula applies easily and seamlessly onto skin while the anti-shine core acts as an absorbent powder to combat shine.

The portable stick foundation makes it easy for touch ups on the go as well.

I remember being obsessed with Benefit Playsticks for a long time. It was my foundation of choice over ten years ago until I found out it was doing nothing for my drier skin. When swatching these I was surprising how moisturizing they felt even though they promise more of a matte finish.

I’m testing them but hope to review them shortly.

They’ll be launching in July at drugstores and will be available as part of the regular Maybelline Fit Me Collection.

Excited to try?

I’ve never used a stick foundation, so yes, I am excited to try! These look interesting and fun. Love me some oil-free foundation ;]

    Also, I don’t know if its just me, but I’ve been having problems trying to use the “reply” button to comments. It just takes me a little farther down the comments, and doesn’t show in the comment area that it’s replying to a comment! :'{

    • the Muse

damn…sorry cin! weirdness! I just cleared my cache on the server, try now?!

  • Sara

I’m so excited for these! I’ve been wanting to check out a stick foundation, since it’s a concept I’m unfamiliar with, and was hoping to pick up one of the Flower ones. But since they have yet to hit my Wal-Mart I’m very stoked for these to hit stores!

    • the Muse

same here, flower is a little too fair for me :-/ so I skipped out on many of the foundation products 🙁

  • Sara

This looks really cool! I’m still looking for something that won’t turn orange. I wish this was coming out for summer. You need more anti-shine stuff in the summer than the winter, yeah?

  • Chelsea

I’m hoping they have a decent pale shade! I love stick foundations, but I can never find the right color. I remember using the Maybelline Express 3-in-1 stick as a middle schooler, as well as a CoverGirl foundation stick.

  • Cindy Ramirez

I tried replying and I’m having the same issue. I tried it in Firefox and IE and both did the same thing!

  • Angela

I have been a fan of stick blushes so far. They are very easy to use. Can’t wait to try a stick foundation!

  • Dee

I love stick foundations and can’t wait til these come out!

  • Jade

I loved the Fit Me line so I’m quite curious about these. Can’t wait for the review!

  • AnniLau

The failure to nest is what I was complaining about a few days ago. I thought it might be on my end, but I guess not if other people are experiencing it too.

    • the Muse

hmmm I see it nesting for others…changed some settings in Yoast and that should have fixed it, sorry about this 🙁 def looking into it!

  • Lauren

Get that review up ASAP! I’m super excited bout this, it looks like it’ll be a good product

  • Tammie

I am having the same problem with replies, and when I think I am replying I am actually not (it says it isn’t a reply and it doesn’t nest them). I was having the same issue on the Rimmel Show Off post as well.

    • the Muse

grrrr so sorry! I think they nested ok though in the rimmel post?

  • Kris

Ooh! I’m really excited for your review! I don’t know that it will replace my foundation at home, but I need a good, fast, portable one for my purse and desk. This sounds perfect, especially for my oily skin. Can’t wait for your review!

  • Tammie

Nope, my first comment was supposed to be a reply to somebody and then my next comment to you was supposed to be nested in there too but it wasn’t :/

I am still experiencing the problem here too, this is supposed to be a reply to your comment but it doesn’t say it’s a reply…

  • Cj

Yeah well… I was the first one with the reply problem SO THERE! 😛

A moisturizing foundation stick you say? I wonder if there’s a shade light enough for moi

    • the Muse

I thought you were being dramatic…lol 😀 come here gimme a hug. I’m tired, I need a nap and a weekend. 😀 I think the shade here is pretty light 😀

      • Cj

Aww *hands you my favorite pillow* his name is Bob 🙂 keep him as long as you need!

  • Aditi

Muse, these somewhat resemble the Maybelline Clear Glow BB Sticks (that are only available in Asia – which makes me sadface). The BB sticks are supposed to be amazing for those with oilier skin – do you think these would work for those of us cursed with a supreme case of the oilies?

    • the Muse

hi aditi! I’m not sure I haven’t tried them yet so unsure how mattifying they are 🙂 will test and let you know soon.

      • Aditi

Thanks! They do look interesting – and I’ve been wanting a good matte product for summer. Can’t wait to see your review! 🙂

  • Virginia

Heck yes I want to try these!! Shine free but moisturizing? my oily/normal skin is super excited!

  • ruth

the last time I tried a stick foundation was 13-14 years ago, it was Mabelline and it made me SHINY like a disco ball. it was a good look.

  • JoElla

I really like the Fit Me line, and am really excited to try these. Can’t wait for the review love!

  • Elle

I’m excited! The last stick foundation I tried was Shiseido and loved it. Hope there’s a good color match on this b/c I don’t really want to pay $$ for Shi.

  • Anna

This looks like it’ll be great to stick in my bag. Plus, it shouldn’t be too hard on my combination skin!

  • kimkats

Ooooooo!!! Glad to hear these didn’t dry out your skin! I *love* stick foundations (just cracked open my last LM stick foundation today! SO sad it’s been discontinued) Am hoping these stay working for you – They are going to have a ton of shades, so I think I’ll be able to find one that works! Excitedexcitedexcitedexcited!!!!

  • joey

It will be nice that there will be an affordable stick foundation available in the US! The Max Factor brand isn’t sold in the US, and it became impossible to find, friends in the female impersonation found an alternative in Kryolan. It will be nice to find and affordable for every day wear that doesn’t cost 30 dollars!

  • dia

Yay stick foundations! I am forever saddened Max Factor is discontinued in the US. Their Pan-Stick was the first foundation I ever fell in love with.

  • Fiona

Ooh hope these make an appearance in the UK too! Always wanted to try a stick foundation and these sound perfect!

  • madworld711

I am so excited to see this. My HG foundation for YEARS was the Max Factor Panstick. I have since tried a couple of other stick foundations, but nothing has yet to compare. The maybelline one looks promising. I hope I love it.

  • Paola

hey Muse! do you think it will be like the regular foundation because that made my eyes swell up so bad…I really want to try it though

    • the Muse

i never tried the regular foundation paola so not sure hun! sorry 🙁

  • Mary Beth

The Bobbi Brown stick foundation applies beautifully but leads to a shiny face later in the day — so I hope this Maybelline foundation will solve the latter problem!

  • Natalie

I actually tried this product today, in their lightest shade Porcelain (only a hand swatch though!) The consistency is so creamy and smooth- it blends amazingly and feels sort of powdery once it’s set (at least that’s how it felt!) I can most definitely see myself purchasing this. I already fell in love with the Fit Me Liquid foundation so I’m excited to try this on my face 😀
