Nuance Salma Hayek Dual Phase Makeup Remover Review

Nuance Salma Hayek Dual Phase Makeup Remover

Ha I didn’t know Nuance by Salma Hayek had a Cucumber & Rosewater Dual Phae Makeup Remover ($8.49). I ran out of Maybelline Clean Express and had some of those Beauty Bonus Bucks from CVS that I always let expire so I was determined to use them (I let one for $50 expire a few months ago and another for $10 and….and….)!

So I headed to CVS last night after having a rather delightful Italian dinner with some friends. I must have circled the aisles twenty times because nothing jumped out at me and I was almost ready to pack it and forget about the stupid bonus bucks when I noticed this makeup remover.

So that’s my story about discovering this stuff. And it was long and boring but you know I love to babble don’t you?

Nuance Dual Phase Makeup Remover

This actually nice stuff. It’s a typical bi-phase eye makeup remover that wipes away eye makeup including waterproof mascara easily enough. Granted, I wouldn’t ditch Lancome for it but it still performs quite well and easily removed my makeup and didn’t leave me with trippy cloudy eye vision nor an oily mess around my eye area.

Shake it up, swipe with a cotton pad, and done! It seemed to do a fairly good job getting all my eye makeup offer effectively without leaving anything behind.

A 4.3oz bottle is $8.49 (got mine free nanner nanner!) so the price isn’t too bad either.

Would I buy it again?

Sure why not!

Def better than dishing out over $20 for Lancome’s version!

Anyone try it?

Do share!

I purchased this item.

Just FYI, you don’t have to use the ExtraBucks that you get from beauty on beauty items – you can use them on food or ibuprofen or anything else in the store. (I work there 🙂 ) Although HOLY CRAP at you having one for $50!!!!

oh i know 😀 I just always forget to use them or I end up wanting to spend them on beauty and just walk out because I can’t find something I need ;-D yeah…and I didn’t use it and kicked myself repeatedly because I forgot!

This is definitely my current favorite makeup remover. This is the only one that doesn’t sting my eyes or leave it dry.

I love CVS extra bucks and I get so mad when I forget to spend them. I totally scored on some razors not long ago. I forget how it went down but with coupons, sales, and extra bucks, I got 3 packs of refills so about $35 worth for $4.50 LOL .. I should be an extreme couponer.

i always always always forget about them and kick myself later 🙁

I have this remover and I am in love with it. Really does a great job in removing my makeup after a long days wear.

Nuance is definitely one of my favorite makeup removers! Although while I was in Hong Kong I picked up the Cyber Colors one and have been pretty impressed by it as well. Both don’t sting my eyes and get stubborn eye makeup off that my cleansing oils seem to miss at times.

oh I’m happy to hear that as I wanted to order it from Sasa.com and wasn’t sure if it was good ;-D going to try now!

AHHH! You’re killing me, Muse — you let $60 worth of CVS beauty bucks expire? Sheesh! Those reward dollars are how I justify paying crazy-high CVS prices for something — I know I will get the money back and then I stack coupons to get awesome prices. I can always find something to buy. If you find yourself roaming those aisles with extra bucks in your hand and don’t know what to do with them — just call me!!!

Aww! I wish I saw this yesterday! I JUST bought Sephora brand waterproof makeup remover since I want to remove my waterproof mascara before bed.

I work at CVS and we usually take expired Extra Bucks, so long as they’re not from months ago! Considering you got $50 worth, it means you’re a frequent shopper, so I’m assuming if you asked the manager next time they’d be nice about it… 🙂

I have been using the Cyber Colors Makeup Remover for a few months when I was in Hong Kong. It gets the job done without blurry vision and stinging my eyes 😀 It is totally replacing my neutrogena eye make up remover.

Don’t throw away Extra Bucks! Most stores will take store coupons even if they’re expired (except %off ones). I’ve worked at CVS for 5 years and my managers and DM have told me to take expired store coupons.
