Ole Henricksen Perfect Truth CC Creme for Summer 2013

Ole Henricksen Perfect Truth CC Creme

I’d like to introduce you to the next CC Cream to grace the US Market, Ole Henricksen Perfect Truth CC Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($36).

Available in a light and medium shade selection the new Ole Henricksen CC Cream promising a formula loaded up with vitamins.

Take a peek!

Ole Henricksen Perfect Truth CC Creme contains a host of benefits for your skin including brightening, perfecting, and protecting in a single step with a formula thats loaded with five different sources of vitamin C and tripeptide-5 blended with ceremides and sodium hyaloranate that helps reduce discolorations and finger lines while firming skin and plumping it.

The SPF 30 is a little disappointing but the promise of brightening and fading dark spots over time has my attention but jeepers, I have to commit hardcore to dark spot correctors so imagine the time you’d need for a CC Cream to work on spots?!

In other news….

I find it interesting some brands have just completely skipped over BB Creams and moved right on to CC Creams. Ole Henricksen has never introduced a BB Cream so they are actually not improving on a formula they already produced. This is just jumping right into the CC Cream pool without any swimmies. Is that wise?

I’m curious.

It’s available now for Beauty Insiders at Sephora and Sephora.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I think it’s awful when a company comes out with a CC (or a BB) cream in only one or two shades. Just as bad is if they come out with a whopping four shades… and they’re all for pale or super pale skin. It’s as if they want to complete exclude a huge market share.

Is it a CC cream that adjusts to your pigment? I agree with JennyD, how can they come out with only two or three shades when we have so many of us that have darker skin tones. I would like to see how it looks on the skin. I’m disappointed because I do use some of Ole’s products and to come out with only two shades is truly disappointing.
