Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Liquid Lift Liquid Eyeliner Review & Swatches
Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Liquid Lift Liquid Eyeliner is a freaking mouthful. Say it fast three times, I dare you!
This pretty emerald liquid liner was introduced with the Spring 2013 Pantone Collection.
Let’s take a peek!
I’m no expert but the Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Liquid Lift Liquid Eyeliner is a little disappointing. We all know I suck at liquid lining but I must say I expected more vibrancy from this little guy.
This is a traditional felt tip liquid liner in a shimmery shade of emerald green. I love the simplicity of the stark white packaging that Sephora embraced for the Pantone Collection. For some reason I find it a sharp contrast with the color, emerald, that it promotes.
Although well made packaging wise with a dense felt tip I felt the actually liner formula was a little lacking. It has a budge proof formula once it sets so no worries about it migrating, fading, or creasing as the day progresses. This should stick around on all eye types even those with oily skin as it really sets down and refuses to move although it removes easily enough with eye makeup remover.
My issue was the formula was a little runny and lacked pigment (I think you can clearly see this in my swatch). The color looks a little faded out once applied. It has a hint of a lovely sparkle but the green isn’t nearly as vibrant as I expected. I think I blame this on the looser formula. Even when I shake it up I still can’t seem to get the consistency down well. It just feels like I’m applying green water to my lash line….odd….I expected a thicker consistency with way more pigment.
Oh well!
In the end this one didn’t quite work out the way I expected. If you’re yearning for it I do recommend swatching in store to see if your experience the same problem with the formula and lack of pigment prior to indulging.
