Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads Review

Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads

I recently picked up a little packet of Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads and fell in love a little. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brand that created little makeup remover pads just for your eyes. Granted, Almay and a variety of brands make a similar product but I thought it was rather novel that these were housed in a facial wipe style packaging with a quilted design!

Cute!

Take a look!

Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads come in a pack of 30 for around $3.99-$5.49 per pack depending where you purchase. They come in a small wrapped design with a resealable sticker.

These are created for the sensitive folks out there and contain Provitamin B5 and E. They contain no alcohol (yay for not drying out my skin) and no oil as well as no artificial perfumes.

They honestly won’t win any awards for removing waterproof mascara but they do a fairly decent job of swiping away lighter eye makeup. They aren’t heavily saturated but still removed a wash of powder shadow or creamy shadow as well as non-waterproof mascara. I think I loved them so much because they travel so easily.

I spend a ton of time away on the weekends come Summer and I’m always looking for ways to lessen my travel load and these are a perfect way to get my lighter makeup off easily without taking a ton of room in my makeup bag.

A great little find for lighter eye makeup removal!

Anyone use these?

Do share!

I purchased this item.

I absolutely hated them. Since they claim to remove waterproof mascara, I thought I’d give them a try. They removed almost no mascara or long-wearing eye makeup. Even just using a simple wipe meant for all over the face took off more makeup than this. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone

noooo def not waterproof mascara! Did well for me on light wash of shadow or cream shadow and non-waterproof mascara but def wouldn’t recommend for waterproof eye makeup 🙁

The was a box of free samples of the Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (which also remove eye makeup) in my gym locker room, so I grabbed a few packs and after using them for a few weeks — I love ’em. I have no problem removing my eye makeup, but I don’t wear waterproof mascara anyway.

they are ideal for quickie clean ups ;-D really gentle, simple, nothing crazy here ;-D I got a few packs too as I travel on the weekends a lot so these are perfect when I’m wearing lighter makeup! 😀

I use the classic face wipes and find they remove my waterproof mascara with no problem. I’m in the process of trying to get my beau to use these at night since he hates washing his face in the evening. Since I’m just using them to remove eye makeup I’ll tear half a sheet and save the other half for tomorrow.

Haven’t tried the eye makeup remover pads but I must say that I LOVEEEEE the regular Simple wipes in the light green package. Love. In love. Will never use anything but! They take off EVERYTHING I ever put on my face without breakouts, and without burning my poor little eyeballs. 🙂

Seem like a great idea being oil and alcohol free etc but too bad they don’t work that well. I’m currently using some almay ones and they leave massive oily residue behind.

I haven’t tried these yet, but I’ve tried every facial cleansing wipe out there because I like to use them 2 remove all my eye & face makeup before I wash my face. The best ones out there are Aveeno ultra calming wipes. They are literally amazing, never burn my eyes, & remove even waterproof mascara! They leave my face soft & moisturized & smell great too, I absolutely love them! You should try them.

In the UK we have had eye make up remover pads sold in little packs like that for years! I think Simple are ok. I don’t wear waterproof mascara very often. They are great for travel and I normally have a tiny pack I normally have a tiny pack in my handbag when I know I’m gonna get lucky if you know what I mean?! Also there are quite a few other brands that have them, there are also lots of cheap non brand ones sold in supermarkets here. xx
