StriVectiv-EV Get Even Dark Circle Corrector

StriVectiv-EV Get Even Dark Circle Corrector ($59) is a new eye cream containing NIA-114 (Niacin) that’s supposed to be a very effective Vitamin C complex to bright skin and help to reduce the appearance of pesky under eye dark circles.

I’ve been using it for nearly two months now so I thought I’d share some of my thoughts with you!

Take a look!

According to their testing StriVectiv-EV Get Even Dark Circle Corrector ($59) 90% of women saw lighter dark circles in as little as two week.

I don’t have terribly dark circles but I struggle with puffiness, tired eyes, and of course, lack of moisture and finer lines.

This formula supposedly helps to build up your moisture barrier which results in the blurring of fine lines. The formula is meant for women 30 and older fighting the signs of aging as well as dark circles.

The staple Vitamin C actives help brighten skin and fight dark circles correcting their appearance.

The eye cream texture is a loose gel consistency which absorbs fairly fast and leaves eyes very nicely hydrated. I wouldn’t use it personally as a PM treatment since it doesn’t have the richer moisture my drier eyes crave. However, as a daily eye cream it can’t be beat. It provides just the right moisture to my eyes for daily use. It wears well under concealer providing a hydrated, smooth area for my concealer to apply to without caking or creasing due to dryness.

In my time using it I felt like it provided adequate moisture for daily wear and also after a month or so of use my eyes started looking brighter, less tired. I have sleepy eyes, that always look tired and stressed. This could be because I spend a lot of time on my computer blogging, gaming, etc….

I wouldn’t say it erased my dark circles it did however, give my eyes a brighter more awake appearance

I think I need to give it more time to work but so far it is promising. The light texture makes it an excellent eye cream for wearing under my concealer. It isn’t so rich that it causes milia nor does it give me a hooded look as some stronger eye creams too.

So far the lightweight texture seems to agree with my eyes and I’m looking forward to seeing how it does for me in the next few months.

This didn’t have instant results but the results I did experience I am very happy with so far.

Anyone try it?

Love to hear it!

I’m always skeptical of high end skincare in a jar or pot like this. Do you think this may affect the cream’s performance over time?

Has anyone seen a reduction in dark circles with this? I got a sample of this, but do not think that I had used it long enough to see results.

I will be watching this space to see if someone comments that they have used this to treat dark circles. I would love it if it works!

Skeptic about it, what will happen if you stop using it?

Niacin is vitamin B3, not C! It may help lighten sun spots and age spots, but not at all blue/ purple discoloations unfortunately.
It is also said to stimulate collagen-> plumpier skin -> less visible discolorations.
