Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronze & Glow Matte Bronzer & Cheek Tint

Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronze & Glow Matte Bronzer & Cheek Tint is a late Summer 2013 release following on the heels of Tarte’s Aqualillies Summer 2013 Collection. Park Ave Princess is such a popular Tarte product that makes an appearance everywhere so I found it interesting this is a reinvention of the formula.

You’ll recognize the format with Tarte Bronze & Glow Matte Bronzer & Cheek Tint as the Maracuja Blush & Glow in a similar style packaging. But in this case, I feel like you’ll make more use of the gel bronzer here where as I found it challenging to get through the highlighter in the Blush & Glow.

Let’s take a look!

Tarte Bronze & Glow Matte Bronzer & Cheek Tint takes Park Ave Princess and converts it to a cream formula. So if you’ve always loved Park Ave Princess Powder Bronzer you now have a new way to experience it.

This is a dual product which contains a tube of Park Ave Princess Bronzer and a topper tip that contains a cheek tint. The cheek tint is possibly the best part of the product as it comes in a gorgeous shade of glistening golden peach. The shade quite reminds me of Tarte Glisten Blush but in a cream formula.

Both products are infused with Tarte’s Amazonian clay and maracuja blend. The bronzer formula is a mousse-like texture that has a whipped consistency which can be applied over foundation or on bare skin prior to applying the cheek tint. This gives skin a very subtle hint of sunny tint. I was surprised as it is a deeper tan bronze but applies very subtly. It has a matte dry down but does not accentuate drier areas and has a soft, smooth feel on my cheeks.

You can apply the tip of the blush onto your cheeks and blend out using fingers as a follow up to the bronzer. This produces a blushing bronze look. In my look below the color actually dominates the bronzer as I only applied a touch. I love shades like this and really wish it was bigger!

Overall, Tarte Bronze & Glow Matte Bronzer & Cheek Tint the easiest way I’ve found to apply bronzer! Plus when I typically apply bronzer I end up doing so with some sort of stain under it or a cream on top so Tarte takes care of both for me with this option. And I’d just like to say one more time, I freaking love this cheek tint shade! Gorgeous!

That shade is definitely you! I would like to try it but think it might look a little odd against my extremely pale complexion

Why oh why can’t they just release the cheek tint in a twist up tube all by itself? Don’t they want all my monies?!! 🙁

  • Helen

The cheek tint is gorgeous! I’m definitely going to check this duo out.

  • Simone

Ooh, I want, I want! This looks like the perfect little purse duo! I’ve been looking for a non powder bronzer, and Glisten is possibly my fave Tarte blush, so this is simply perfection! Thanks!

I’ve been eyeing this ever since I saw it on QVC but I’m so so unsure on how to apply the bronzer! Do you just dab it all over your face and rub it in? Or do you just apply on your cheeks?

I dabbed on my cheek bones and blended upward…and applied the blush on top. the blush dominates the bronzer for me though 😀
