Y.E.T Shy Girl Powder Blusher Review & Swatches

Y.E.T Shy Girl Powder Blushers

I recently purchased Y.E.T Shy Girl Powder Blusher off of E-bay in two of the six shades they offer this little loose blush in. I dunno why but the packaging just kills me, seriously, the girl on the packaging looks like she’s giving such sass you gotta love it.

I don’t really love loose powder blushes since they tend to be a little messy but at $7.90 each these weren’t killing my bank account too much.

Take a peek!

These are a generously sized pot blush with a loose mineral-like formula. I purchased shades 5 (Peach Fashion) and 6 (Tangerine Glow) but do sort of regret it since the shades are very similiar once applied.

If you like loose blush you’ll adore this formula as they are a finely milled, silky texture that applies easily with a sheer to full color pay off depending how much you apply. You can use the Bare Minerals method of application as merely swirling in the lid, tapping, and applying or these come with a sponge that you can use to pat color into place. Personally I’d suggest a bushier brush for application as the powder puff method will give you clown cheeks for sure!

Not only is the formula quite nice to apply but once applied it’ll last you well into your day without fading or losing its vibrancy. The semi-matte finish seems to sit quite nicely atop my skin wearing a solid eight hours before showing minor wear.

I dunno if you necessarily need to go out of your way to purchase them since there are such a wide range of e-tailers selling similiar loose mineral blushers however, if you happen to be purchasing from E-bay anyway it wouldn’t hurt to add one or two into your cart at this price. They are pigmented, easy to apply, and wear quite strongly so if you love looser blushes this isn’t a formula that will hurt your wallet.

Hi Muse, I’m a long time lurker. Just purchased the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery essence based on your review. I was wondering if you know anything about Asian cosmetic expiry dates? Mine says 2013.02.12 is that a manufacture date or expiry date? Google wasn’t much help for me.
    Thanks for your help!

Hey, Amy! Asian products are typically stamped with the date of manufacture. There are exceptions, but the above tends to be the norm. Hope this helps!

The blush looks lovely, but the girl in the packaging creeps me out so much. She’s scary looking. XD
