Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss Review & Swatches

Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss is a follow up to Avon’s new Totally Kissable Lipstick. Soon after the lipstick launched Avon followed up with Totally Kisssable Lip Gloss. It feels like such rarity for Avon to venture outside the realms of its cult favorite Glazewear formula so Totally Kissable Lipgloss seemed extra special.

Don’t get me wrong they do lipglosses here and there but it always seems like it is some variation of Glazewear. The Glazewear formula is ok but not really as incredible as it is marketed as.

I admit to being a little skeptical of Totally Kissable Gloss, I just didn’t expect much from it.

I was wrong.

Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss in a range of fifteen shades ($7) and quite looks a little like Shiseido Maquillage Essence Glamorous Rouge due to the diamond shaped mirrored topper!

These have a rather large sponge applicator which saturated VERY well with gloss. I partially blame the glosses great application due to this great sponge.

I only tried a single shade, Sweetly Peach, and that was sheerer with not quite opaque coverage and more of a milky translucence. I do believe darker shades will prove more tinted but none the less Sweetly Peach didn’t do too bad tinting my lips a very sweet shade of peach.

The formula is lovely. It has a gel-like non-sticky consistency that wears weightlessly giving lips a nice shiny finish with a very subtle flavor in the background that I can’t put my finger on, something fruity perhaps? The gloss formula keeps my lips fairly hydrated through the wear and it doesn’t migrate around my mouth. It wears for a shorter time at two hours before a touch up is needed.

Overall, Totally Kissable Lipgloss is a win. These have such a lovely formula that I just want to own every single shade. Having been disappointed with many Avon Lipgloss formulas in the past I must say these are a pleasant surprise.
