Blinc Eye Shadow Primer Review & Swatches

Blinc EyeShadow Primer

I’m loving Blinc Eye Shadow Primer at the moment. Eyeshadow Primer has been lacking in my regime lately. Dunno why but I haven’t been using it. But I was recently introduced to Blinc Eye Shadow Primer and decided to test it out as Summer is here and my shadow is more likely to crease in the sunny, sometimes humid weather so why not?

Take a look!

Blinc Eye Shadow Primer

Blinc Eye Shadow Primer is available in both a Light and Flesh Tone. This little shadow primer promises to crease-proof your eyeshadow so they remain fresh all day without fading, creasing, or migrating around. It also promises to decrease the appearance of fine lines with an anti-aging formula but I don’t have lines around my lids yet so can’t say this if this is working.

This is a thinner, creamier texture that applies slightly tacky but sets to a semi-matte powdery finish. I got the Light Tone which brightens up my eyes quit nicely but the Flesh Tone would probably have been a better option for me and most skin tones. I like the fact I can use this on its own because it does contain enough pigment to act as a way to brighten up your eyes without adding any shadow on. On its own it’ll make sleepy eyes look awake and lively and makes for a perfect nude eye look that you can use as a base for that lined cat eye look!

I found it works fantastically with looser pigments. Since it takes a moment to set it has a tackier feel which looser shadows, pigments, and glitters love to adhere to. This results in less fall out.

With both pigment and press shadows it creates a perfect base as it does indeed keep them crease-proof for a full twelve hours of wear both in the warm and cooler weather as I tested it. The formula pretty much prevented my shadows from creasing and fading all day without a hiccup.

I didn’t feel like the formula intensified the look of my shadows but it sure did a great job keeping them from creasing!

Do like!
