Chubby Lip Crayons Trending in Korea

Chubby Lip Pencil Trend

We had our share of the Chubby Lip Crayon craze this year haven’t we? Well Chubby Lip Pencils and Crayons are starting to trend in Korea. Interesting that they are just now starting to pick up on this as up until now not a ton of brands embraced the chubbier pencil! Granted you can find a slew of glossy thinner pencils in Korea but not the chunkier ones with more color options that we’ve seen here most recently in the US.

Take a look at some of the hottest lips pencils popping up now in Korea.

Bet you’ll want one or two…or at least I do because the chubby lip pencil craze is still pumping through my blood stream!

Tonymoly Color Fix Lip Crayons

A soft, soothing glossy lip pencil in flavors like grape, lemon, and cherry with Vitamin E and camellia flower to keep lips soft and supple.

  • Lioele Lip Color Stick

A moisturizing lip color pencil that promises the pigment of a lipstick in four shades.

I’m quite curious to see if brands like Etude House, Holika Holika, and Missha also do a version. Etude House has already done and redone glossy pencils but never a chubby version! I’d be highly interested in trying their formula out.

What do you think of the chubby pencil craze?

Tired of it by now?

Or excited to try more?

I love the craze. I want more so I may look into these even though I’ve never really bought any Asian brands.

I love them! I’m just afraid of ordering some online, and having it melt in shipping to Arizona. D:

I bet these are awesome. I really love the look of the translucent, juicy, colorful Asian lipsticks. Like the Etude House ones.

The lioele lip color stick has been around for a long time. i used the orange and the dark pink one. I have to exfoliate and moisturize my lips very well before using it or else it looks horrible on dry lips, i love the color but they wear off quickly. Now i’m waiting for my Revlon Kissable balm stain, hope it performs better.

Too Cool for School has one of these and UGH DINOSAURS AND CUTENESS YES

Big yay for the packaging! But I’ve got the peach one and I’m not quite a fan… Much prefer the hydrating formula in the Revlon and Bourjois dupes.

Totally excited to try more, especially since we’re a little slower to the bandwagon here in Europe, haha!
