Etude House I’m Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel Review

Etude House I'm Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel Cleanser

Etude House I’m Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel Cleanser is one of the last skincare products I purchased from the I’m Blooming Collection that recently launched in Korea. I have to say the I’m Blooming Cleanser and I’m Blooming Mists weren’t all that big a deal for me. Not sure what I expected from this collection but what I got was a little boring and uneventful!

Perhaps the Brightening Wash-Off Gel changed my mind?

Etude House I'm Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel

The Etude House I’m Blooming Skincare Collection is supposedly 100% Organic and Natural made from floral extracts. The I’m Blooming Brightening Wash Off Gel contains flower and plant origin powder. Shrug..no idea what that even means in all honesty…! But ok!

Supposedly the ingredients are supposed to give you a blooming or healthy skin look. Obviously things get lost in translation but they are trying to imply that using the skincare products will give your skin that youthful blushing glow.

This is a thicker gel cleanser with tiny grainy beads. I didn’t realize it had beads until I started using it as they are virtually invisible when I squeeze out a bit and apply. It’s basically supposed to brighten and whiten by exfoliating in my opinion thus the beads. It doesn’t create major lather or foam when water is added so I never truly feel as squeaky clean as I would using a foaming cleanser. I didn’t feel my face looked or felt any better or worst after using it for three weeks or so. It didn’t really brighten and my drier skin is still flaky after use. I need a harsher scrub to exfoliate, these beads just don’t do it for me. It washes clean away and doesn’t leave a film nor does it leave my skin tight or dry after use.

Etude House I'm Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel Swatches

All in all it’s just uneventful to me. I admit I was disappointed that none of the I’m Blooming Skincare products even had a subtle floral scented…..! They are fragrance-free sadness!

I think Etude House has done some really great skincare products that I’ve fully enjoyed using but the I’m Blooming Collection did bore me a little.

Not sure I’d recommend running out to buy any of them.

Tried them?

Do you know how hard it is to find fragrance-free anything? Some of us NEED products like this. I’d rather subtract the bells and whistles for a cleanser that doesn’t make my face explode.

sorry Liane. I realize there are folks with sensitive skin was just saying I was personally disappointed they weren’t fragranced.
