Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream Review

Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream

Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream is a new variation added to the Etude House Moistfull Skincare Collection that’s formulated with Baobab Tree Extract to sooth dry, tired skin. Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream also contains Cherry Blossom Floral complex supposedly to nourish and sooth drier skin.

As much as I love the original Etude House Moistfull Cream I must admit the Flower version is my absolutely favorite, must have for drier skin at the moment.

I adore it!

Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream 3

Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream comes in a pink frosted jar with a plastic spatula for application. It’s rather thoughtful ALL Asian skincare include a spatula with anything that comes in a jar. I wish the US would do the same.

I admit I adore the prettier packaging with the cute Cherry Blossom accents and pink jar it makes for a rather gorgeous little moisturizer doesn’t it? The original Moistfull Cream comes in a standard frosted green or orange jar, equally cute, but not nearly as princess-y as the Flower formula.

This has the same gel-like formula that the original does. It’s a thicker gel that has a tackier feel once applied but absorbs quickly and leaves skin dewy to the touch easing drier, flakier areas with a single application. I think you’ll appreciate it most if your skin is dehydrated, duller, and drier but combination and oily skin types it will prove a little too rich. You actually only need a little for your entire face as it provides that much moisture. It feels very cool and refreshing on my skin and delivers immediate results on the first application so my drier skin is left smoother and supple. I like how well this aids my skin in retaining moisture. It seems like a single application keeps my skin hydrated all day and seals in moisture well after the initial use. Even though highly moisturizing it doesn’t leave my skin looking greasy or oily.

Now it does have a VERY strong fresh floral scent which I simply adore. The fragrance is gorgeous! They should make a perfume scented like this. Unfortunately, this is bad news for those sensitive to fragranced skincare as I find the scent lingers after applying and could prove irritating for some.

Overall, I wouldn’t say Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream is really any more or less moisturizing than the original formula. The main difference is the packaging and the scent. But it is quite a favorite of mine at the moment. I’ll skip out on the original from now on and purchase the Flower formula.

Love it.

Muse Approved for purchase.

I got mine from a friend in Korea but the usual E-bay suspects have it available.

Tried it?

Love to hear your thoughts!

Its funny that youre reviewing this now XD I’ve been wanting to try this cream for well over a year now and Im just ordering a sample version. I didn’t know if it would be good for dry skin since all reviews of it are from a oily skinned point of view, so im glad you posted this 🙂 I’ve tried their aloe (green) version and it wasn’t moisturizing enough so I was hesitant to order the full size.

    • the Muse

rafia, if you didn’t like the aloe, chances are you won’t like this as they are very similar formulas dear in terms of moisture. I actually find both quite highly moisturizing.

How can you purchase Étude House products, I was recently on there website but it shows no way to go about purchasing from them?

    • the Muse

ebay and online shops Annie unless you’re in Korea or other parts of Asia.

        • the Muse

sasa.com which doesn’t have a large selection of etude house unfortunately 🙁 and imomoko.com which is quite expensive but very reliable.

I’ve heard good things about prettyandcute.com, yesstyle.com and ibuybeauti.com. I’ve had friends order from these sites and recommend them.

Other than eBay (which I order lots from but you have to be aware of fakes) I’ve made several orders from en.koredepart.com and I’m always happy with them. They have a huge selection and prices are great too. However I have to mention that the payment for shipping is a bit annoying. It’s a lot to explain so check the site for details. It’s worth it in the end to me but I thought it should be mentioned. 🙂

            oops- that’s should be en.koreadepart.com

I love this product, I got it as a substitute for a product I originally purchased which was the Etude House Moistfull Cream and Mask set…but they sold out and they gave me this one.

At first I was pissed, but I love it now~!

I envy people with dry skin. I had acne until I was well past 40. Even now, my skin is STILL super oily in summer, spring, and fall, and normal in winter. Anyway, I am SUCH a packaging junkie that I may have to grab this one anyway..the jar is simply adorable and I love heavily scented skincare. It looks light enough to use without clogging the pores if one uses just a tiny bit. Also, I wash my face a LOT during the summer, so I think a nice lightweight cream like this would be nice to replenish any lost moisture. On another note Muse, since I am new to your blog I have been having a blast reading the older posts, and I came across your Rosette Hello Kitty review last month, so I did a Sasa Rosette haul, and you were so right about the Strong Mint Wash..KA-POW!!! I love it. In fact, I think all their cleansers are my new favorites (for now lol). P.S., I know you must have heard about James Gandolfini passing away?? Only 51 years old…scary…you never know when it’s time to go. May he rest in peace…he will definitely be missed.

don’t. oily skin means you’ll look quite young 😀 you prob look 30 right? dry skin and you’d look 60 😀 so be thankful! 😀 yayayaya welcome bebe and so glad you found me 😀 LOL right? but a good KAPOW! 😀 and great if you have oily skin too! I did…not only scary but shocking I can’t believe it. 🙁 How crazy is that? He seemed like such a healthy strong man! I was shocked 🙁

  • bebe

Thanks for the compliments Muse, they are very much appreciated. I know this sounds crazy, but I almost feel guilty about Mr. Gandolfini’s passing because I’m older than he was. Anyway, God/Goddess Bless him, may he rest in peace. Thanx again for such a great blog with so many wonderful reviews.

aw my pleasure bebe only the truth! don’t. just live everything to the fullest 🙂 you can’t feel guilty about something that wasn’t under your control! def don’t. I feel bad for him/his family/those close to him myself 🙁 it really could happen to anyone though, regardless of age 🙁 You never know. Just be thankful for each day you have and enjoy it 🙂 never sweat the small stuff, it all turns out great in the end anyway right? 🙂 Aw thank YOU! and big hugs!

Once in the clinique stand they tried me the clinique moisture surge, I loved it but was too expensive, so as soon as I found the collage version of this line seem so similar, I ordered it. No regrets, the etude gel moistures as fine or even better my skin.
Next time I’ll order the fower one~ ✿

  • Kris

Miss Muse, do you have any eay sellers you recommend for purchasing this cream and knowing it’s authentic/fresh? Feel I need it now.

  • Sephiria

I’m using the etude house moistful collagen cream now, any idea how does it compare? This looks more gel like and PRETTY 😀

  • Julia

Hi just wondering if my skin will still be moisturizes after I put some cc and bb cream on ? I live in canada and the weather is starting to get colder so my skin is really dry and it just looks so dry and ugly when I put my cc and bb cream on after the moisturizer that I’m using right now. Do u think it would be a good idea to buy this product so my skin would not look really dry after I put makeup on

I ordered this cream, and I can honestly say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. What I enjoy about Korean brands is that they have a diverse market for teens, which is hard to find in most western brands. The Etude house cream is so hydrating and plumpy ( if that’s even a word lol). Most creams claim to offer hydration, but they either sit on top of your skin, or they’re so heavy that they inadvertently clog pores x . x , and ever since I’ve used Korean skincare, I noticed that hydration is one of the most basic necessities for skin.
