Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream Review
Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream is a new variation added to the Etude House Moistfull Skincare Collection that’s formulated with Baobab Tree Extract to sooth dry, tired skin. Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream also contains Cherry Blossom Floral complex supposedly to nourish and sooth drier skin.
As much as I love the original Etude House Moistfull Cream I must admit the Flower version is my absolutely favorite, must have for drier skin at the moment.
I adore it!
Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream comes in a pink frosted jar with a plastic spatula for application. It’s rather thoughtful ALL Asian skincare include a spatula with anything that comes in a jar. I wish the US would do the same.
I admit I adore the prettier packaging with the cute Cherry Blossom accents and pink jar it makes for a rather gorgeous little moisturizer doesn’t it? The original Moistfull Cream comes in a standard frosted green or orange jar, equally cute, but not nearly as princess-y as the Flower formula.
This has the same gel-like formula that the original does. It’s a thicker gel that has a tackier feel once applied but absorbs quickly and leaves skin dewy to the touch easing drier, flakier areas with a single application. I think you’ll appreciate it most if your skin is dehydrated, duller, and drier but combination and oily skin types it will prove a little too rich. You actually only need a little for your entire face as it provides that much moisture. It feels very cool and refreshing on my skin and delivers immediate results on the first application so my drier skin is left smoother and supple. I like how well this aids my skin in retaining moisture. It seems like a single application keeps my skin hydrated all day and seals in moisture well after the initial use. Even though highly moisturizing it doesn’t leave my skin looking greasy or oily.
Now it does have a VERY strong fresh floral scent which I simply adore. The fragrance is gorgeous! They should make a perfume scented like this. Unfortunately, this is bad news for those sensitive to fragranced skincare as I find the scent lingers after applying and could prove irritating for some.
Overall, I wouldn’t say Etude House Moistfull Flower Cream is really any more or less moisturizing than the original formula. The main difference is the packaging and the scent. But it is quite a favorite of mine at the moment. I’ll skip out on the original from now on and purchase the Flower formula.
Love it.
Muse Approved for purchase.
I got mine from a friend in Korea but the usual E-bay suspects have it available.
Tried it?
