L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Cream Review & Swatches
As I’m busy exploring CC Creams this Summer I was excited by L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Cream as it was easy enough to get in drugstores here in the US. It recently launched and I came across it for $10.49 at Harmons and I instantly snatched up both shades available.
I suspect it’ll be considerably higher priced at CVS, Walgreens, etc…so it sure is helpful that I’m here to tell you how BADLY the formula turned out.
Ugh! Do not buy!
L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Cream is available in two shades which are Light/Medium and Medium/Deep (Swatched left to right below). It contains a very sparse broad spectrum SPF 20 and promises to act as a multi-action cream to corrects color and tone.
It’s a white color that contains color capsules which burst as you blend. According to L’Oreal the CC Cream formula they developed will reduce the appearance of age and dark spots, even skin tone, brighten dullness, smooth skin texture while firming.
Does it do any of this?
NOT a single thing. Out of all those five multitasking benefits it does not perform a single one right. The best you can hopeful for here is moisture but do not buy it for color correcting purposes because it does not correct.
This has a very pretty fresh floral scent that will likely irritate those with sensitivities. It has a very lovely lightweight yet highly moisturizing formula that’s creamier in texture and has a dewy to the touch finish. The light version has absolutely no pigment once blended into skin and produces a rather glowing finish. Where as the darker version lends an orange-y cast that isn’t terribly pretty.
CC Creams are a step below BB Creams in terms of pigmentation. I did not expect L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Cream to offer any coverage however, I did expect it to brighten, even out skin tone, and create a more uniformed finish on my skin. It successfully failed at doing any of that aside from providing some pleasant moisture to my skin.
This one you can safely skip. It is not a formula you want to bother yourself with. I’d liken it to Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream which was beautifully textured but had absolutely no benefits outside of being a moisturizing facial cream.
Honestly, L’Oreal, you can do better than this.
Tried it?
Love to hear your thoughts!
