MAC Illustrated Bags 2013 Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

MAC Illustrated Bag Indie 184

MAC has a new selection of Illustrated Bags ($36) that will launch July 11th at all MAC stores. These bags were designed by Anja Kroencke and Indie 184.

Let’s take a look at two of the four designs!

As I recall last year’s bags were made from material but this year they are made of plastic which is great as they are easy to wipe down or clean up if you should spill any makeup stored inside!

Both make up bags designed by Anja Kroencke are black and white drawings of a female with a similar print inside. Where as Indie 184’s design is a graffiti print. You’ll find a small strip of plastic divider inside each bag that features the artist’s signature and aids in dividing the bag into two separate compartments. These are large enough to hold essentials for daily makeup use without taking up a ton of space inside your purse or tote.

MAC Illustrated Bags Fall 2013

Each artist created two different designs and each bag will be priced at $36. Where as last year there were two sizes this year MAC only produced the smaller essential makeup bag size which I find the more easier to travel with!

You can get them at all MAC stores starting July 11th for a limited time.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow! These bags are gorgeous. Love Indie 184’s design. The price of these bags isn’t as beautiful, but I may be making a trip to the Mac Store anyway. These designs are too nice to pass up!
