Milani TANtastic Face & Body Baked Bronzer Review & Swatches
Anyone try out the new shades of Milani TANtastic Face & Body Baked Bronzer? Fantastic Illuminator and Fantastic Summers Kiss are two new shades added to Milani’s TANtastic Bronzer Collection for the Summer that are available at Walgreens.
You know how much I dislike bronzers right?
Well, I LOVE these.
These come in a chunky black compact which features a full size mirror located on the back. The design is a swing out compact which has a clear lid which swings out to reveal the bronzer and a bottom portion which swings in the opposite direction to reveal a compartment holding a brush for application.
Unfortunately the brush is rubbish. The bristles are scratchy and it sheds horribly so I’d recommend using your own bronzer or kabuki brush for application.
If you were thinking the packaging seemed familiar that would because Lorac TANtalizer Baked Bronzer is basically the same. Well, to think about it, Milani is a sport on DUPE for Lorac’s more pricey ($32) TANtalizer Baked Bronzer.
I own a few of these already as Milani has them in a host of shades but I have to say Fantastic Illuminator and Fantastic Summers Kiss are by far my favorite. These are a baked marbelized bronzer with a shimmery finish. They have a finely milled silky to the touch feel and produce an incredible glow on cheeks much like you’d get from Urban Decay’s Baked Bronzer.
They do have a good deal of golden shimmer so you need a lighter touch when using them but please trust me the effects are stunning to say the least when applied correctly. I personally have a heavier hand so I use them with a fan brush when possible. They add instant radiance and glow to skin that’s simply stunning.
I think the Fantastic Illuminator shade is probably the nicer of the two and most suitable for lighter skin tones. This is a golden beige bronzer. It has elements of a soft base of golden beige with bronze veining. Fantastic Summer’s Kiss is the darker of the two. This is a solid bronzer base with a deeper chocolate bronze veining. Fantastic Summer’s Kiss has less golden undertones than Fantastic Illuminator as well and produces more of a traditional bronzing effect.

Overall, these, in my opinion, are well worth picking up! Especially Fantastic Illuminator! Use them alone or try them with a hint of cheek stain underneath. They create a perfect golden glow that’s absolutely beautiful for Summer looks.
Must have.
