Nature Republic Super Origin Complete Control Cream Tinted Review & Swatches

Nature Republic Tinted Super Origin Complete Control Cream

Having already reviewed the Nature Republic Brightening Super Origin Complete Control Cream and not liking it I was worried the Tinted formula wouldn’t be to my taste either. This CC Cream is quite differently formulated compared to many of the other CC Creams I’ve been trying from Korea.

Let’s find out more.

Read ahead.

Nature Republic Super Origin Complete Control Cream Tinted

Nature Republic Tinted Super Origin Complete Control Cream is an identical formula to the brightening one. They both have a super creamy texture with a highly moisturizing formula. It leaves my skin a little shiny after use and a dewy to the touch but at the moment I’m experiencing a good deal of dryness so I don’t really mind. It absorbs easily into my skin and I can pretty much skip moisturizer when using it as it acts as both a moisturizer and a base product.

When I originally tried the brightening formula my skin was going through a combination phase due to the warmer weather so I experienced some shininess as the day progressed. With my skin drier now I felt like this helped to retain a good deal of moisture and therefore my skin felt and looked hydrated and healthier. I’d recommend this as more of a winter product though due to the hydrating formula.

It’s pretty sheer and doesn’t offer much in the way of correction. It protects with an SPF 30 and claims to treat finer lines. If you already have fairly good skin I will say that it does an incredible joy of brightening skin up and easing dullness. It sets a very good canvas for makeup should you like to follow up with BB Cream. I actually wore it alone for my look below and I think you can how it eases my dullness and makes my skin look brighter and more lively!

It is disappointing for those looking for correcting benefits though such as easing dullness or evening out skin tone or even concealing redness. This is unfortunately to sheer to do any of that.

The color is a creamy ivory with pinkish undertones. It has a light floral scent that disappears once applied. It comes in the same pump as the brightening variation but where as I had no problem with that one I did have to pump this several hundred times to get product to flow. When it finally did dispense it ended up being enough to prime an entire small village. Ugh…! So I guess the pumps are a fluke. You might get one that works, you might not.

Nature Republic Super Origin Complete Control Cream Tinted Swatches

Overall, I probably would by the tinted formula again. It’s good lightweight coverage for my drier skin. I don’t have a ton of skin issues and my skin is clear so I personally seek out products to brighten up the dullness I experience and this does just that. If you’re looking for a product to treat a similar issue as my own I’d recommend this. However, those looking for a good CC Cream experience will find this disappointing as it lacks the benefits and perks of a good CC Cream. In this case, I’d recommend Tony Moly’s CC Cream which I had great success with!

have you ever tried Espoir’s cosmetic line? they’re owned by Amorepascific, which is pretty much the biggest cosmetic company in Korea (they also own HERA, Sulwhasoo, Laneige, IOPE, Innisfree, Etude House, and a bunch more).
Espoir is a little more higher end than say.. Etude House or The Face Shop, but it’s more lower end than say Laneige for example. It’s about the same as Banila Co in terms of price and quality. Personally, I love their stuff (epecially their Bronze Painting Waterproof Eye Pencil range).
I am currently trying out their CC cream and I like it a lot. if you can, you should ask and see if your friend in Korea can buy one for you. I would love to hear your thoughts on it, plus they are currently having a buy one get one free special sale until the end of this month. both you and your friend can enjoy it together~ ^^

do you know which is a better cc cream out of the three for a lighter skin tone? my skin tone is somewhere near yours. I got the color change and it was too dark for me for some reason.
