Sephora Disney Ariel Set the Mood Mirror Review
Sephora Disney Ariel Set the Mood Compact Mirror ($20)
Another Sephora Disney Collection, another mirror. The Sephora Disney Ariel Set the Mood Mirror may just be the last mirror we see from the Sephora Princess Collections as word on the street is this could be the very last collection that Sephora does. I sure hope not, I’m really enjoying these releases!
These mirrors are probably the best $20 you’ll spend in your makeup and beauty life.
Find out why after the jump!
I think we all use a mirror a dozen or more times a day. Check our gloss or lipstick and reach for the mirror, check our teeth (never know what might be stuck between ’em! ew gross!) reach for the mirror, check our hair and make sure our brows aren’t sticking up all over the place and reach for the mirror….etc…etc…it’s just something we do daily. Even if you’re not a huge makeup person I’m betting you check yourself out in the mirror once or twice a day.
So we should have a pretty mirror to do all that checking out right??!
Sephora Disney Ariel Set the Mood Compact Mirror ($20) is a masterpiece of a compact mirror. This gorgeous creation features a small silhouette of Ariel and her Prince during that faithful “Kiss the Girl” scene in the film. It’s etched with silver lacing and a gorgeous green tortoiseshell-like background featuring tiny fishes. It’s not a flimsy mirror, you get bang for your $20. This has a good deal of weight behind it and features a regular mirror and magnified version. The inside of the mirror is printed with “You’ve got to be you!”, truer words were never uttered!
My press release mentions it being available at Sephora and Sephora.com as of July 2013. There are different dates floating around for the collection but I’m sticking to this date until I hear anything from Sephora directly.
I would urge you to purchase the mirror as soon as it launches if you want it. The mirrors seem to have garnered a cult following and sell out fast. They also happen to end up selling for $100-$200 on E-bay (obscene) at some point which is further reason to get the mirror as soon as possible to avoid the heartache of not completing your collection if you already own the Cinderella and Jasmine’s mirrors.
I do Muse Approve it.
At $20 it truly is an excellent price for such a beautiful mirror!
