Sephora Precious Gold Luminizer Review & Swatches

Sephora Precious Gold Luminizer

Shimmer, Shimmer, I’m singing that to Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie! Sephora Precious Gold Luminizer ($10) is kinda my newest obsession although it shouldn’t be as I overdose on the sparkle a little too much!

But this fancy glittering gel highlighter creates a golden sparkling veil on face or body that I can’t say no too!

Sephora Precious Gold Luminizer is all kinds of crazy sparkly kids. A little goes a long way, try not to over do it. This thicker gel can be applied anywhere on your body or face and is made up of over 70% water so it dries in a flash and leaves behind a cool sensation on skin.

This is a truer, bolder gold that has light reflecting shimmery particles. I find it a bit overdone so it does need to be sheered out. I wouldn’t really wear it on my face unless I was doing some sort of special occasion party or costume for Halloween. It does apply nicely on arms and legs though so if you want a little shimmer for a day at the beach this works a treat.

I was tempted to pat it over my eyeshadow but I’m unsure how eye safe it is with all that glittery goodness in the formula!

The good news? It’s only $10 bucks so you can get your shimmer fix on the cheap!

It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com

Do you find yourself wearing more highlighters and shimmery powders in the Summer?!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Reminds me of a more grown up version of the body glitter gel I was WAY too into during the 90’s/early 2000’s

If I wanna amp the sparkly-ness of my shadow, I always turn to Lorac’s 3D Liquid Lustre, is soooo good (both colours)! 🙂
