Tarte Rainforest Glow Maracuja Waterproof Body Bronzer

Tarte Rainforest Glow Maracuja Waterproof Body Bronzer hits my Summer radar and offers a moisturizing way to get a glow to my arms and legs in minutes.

A waterproof faux glow that I don’t need to sit in the sun to get? Sounds good to me.

Take a peek!

The Tarte Rainforest Glow Maracuja Waterproof Body Bronzer ($34) is available exclusively at Ulta and Ulta.com this Summer and offers an easy way to get a glow on your body without having to wait for a self-tanner to develop.

This golden brown bronzer is a great way to add a soft glow to legs, arms, or anywhere you want to add color or use it to touch up an already gorgeous tan that’s just starting to fade.

I don’t really love self tanners as waiting for them to develop and wondering if I applied it correctly feels like Christmas Eve when I was ten. Will I get the present I want? Or won’t I? Same goes for self developing tan lotions…will it be a great tan? Or will it look patchy and streaky? Seriously….I find it horrifying applying a clear gel and hoping and praying I applied it correctly and it’ll develop into smooth, even color.

But knowing my dorky self it’ll look like absolute rubbish with a leg that’s spotty or something.

Rainforest Glow Maracuja Waterproof Body Bronzer is pretty foolproof. Just apply it as you would any body cream! It’s basically a tinted bronzer which can’t really be applied wrong. It’s infused with Tarte’s Maracuja Oil which gives it a super hydrating feel and washes easily away with soap and water but still allows for a non transferable formula that lasts all day on my legs without rubbing off on my skirt or shorts. I like the option of being able to wash this off. I’m a commitment-phobe so having to stick with a bronzer for a week or more would make me crazed! This allows me to apply and wash off if I dislike it or I’m tired of it!

I don’t really love bronzing products in all honesty as I’m one that hides away from the sun! But this is a really easy way to add subtle luster to my legs and arms without over doing it!

Def one for the bronzer babes out there to try!

Anyone own it?

Do share!

Hi Muse. How did it do on elbows, knees, etc? You know how tanners get too dark in those areas if you’re not careful? Is this even all over? Thanks!

even all over deb. exfoliate is key of course with any bronzer but I didn’t have a prob…it’s kinda like applying a tinted moisturizer really! it adds color, some color but not so much that you feel orange or overly tan. it adds luster to skin. I didn’t have patchy issues or streaks which I liked. I really don’t love bronzing products but this just felt like a highly moisturizing body cream with tint. I think the swatches look intimidating but it applies fairly lighter 🙂

I have a little tip for that, it works for me – I use a little regular moisturizer on my more dry/thicker skinned areas (like you say, knees, elbows, etc.), and blend it out to surrounding areas a tiny bit and let it dry. Then, when I put the self tanner on top, those moisturized areas won’t absorb as much of the self tanner product as the rest of my skin, so those areas don’t get too dark. Hope it works for you too! 🙂

Interesting, but I have a feeling I would screw this up somehow. I’m ultra-pale, so almost everything with “bronzer” in the title usually turns me orange.
