I always love the look of Too Faced palettes, but they seem a little overpriced to me – that’s the sort of price range I associate with either more colors or fancier packaging, I suppose. Do you think they’re worth it, though?

    • the Muse

can’t really say how worth it they are as I haven’t tried any of them sorry 🙁

    • Alex

I’m sure I’ll sound slightly biased since I love the brand but Too Faced shadows are pretty great. Generally they’re quite on par with Urban Decay and they make some of my favorite matte shadows. The only shadow I have by Too Faced that I could ever really complain about is Peach Fuzz, which is basically just glitter in a sheerer peachy shadow but is still quite lovely with a tacky base.

I mentioned PF in specific because it is a shade that tends to pop up in permanent palettes.

    • Abbey

I like Too Faced palettes as well. The only thing I don’t like is there is always a glitter bomb thrown in (looks like Miss Sparkles will be the one for this palette). Personally, I’m not a fan of glitter. Other than that the shadows are pigmented, blendable, and last all day. I wear a couple of Too Faced shadows from the Natural at Night palette to work every day.

I saw the lip pencils, and wanted 3 colors, but when I went to their website and looked at the ingredients…….YUCK!!! Mineral oil is the first ingredient, followed by petrolatum about 4 ingredients after, for the price, I expect much better!! Also, it says they are plumpers, there is nothing in those sticks that will do any plumping, what a bust!! Boo Hoo, I will spend my money elsewhere.

    • Sandra

My thoughts exactly! Mineral oil is something you have in your garage, NOT on your lips (and often face). So sad that Too Faced haven’t jumped on the “let’s-use-ingredients-that’s-NOT-harmfull-instead-train” yet. When people realize what common ingredients actually ARE and what they cause, the make-up industry will change a lot! Hopefully soon, because I love Too Faced eye-shadows, but will go nowhere near their other products yet. 🙂

Can’t wait for swatches, none the less! 😀

OMG stop trying to make fetch happen, it’s not going to happen!

      XD

  • K.B.

I’ll skip this collection, but I initially read the name of the black shadow as Muse Sparkles. 😉

  • Kadie Lee

Very cute! I think the only reason I want it is the cheekiness of it!

  • Cindy Ramirez

Wow is it really fall already in the makeup world? Does that mean I can break out my vampy berry and plums?! 😀 Also, I wonder how similar the Glitter Glaze Transforming Shadow Top Coat (what a mouth full) is to Lorac’s 3D Liquid Lustre!

  • Nancy

I really love the colors and especially the packaging! I skipped the last 2 palettes, but I’m getting this one, thank you Muse,I can’t wait to see swatches! 🙂

  • Jennifer

I have always loved the colors Too Faced offers. Unfortunately the prices and quality are just are not on par. The eyeshadows are just too crumbly and chalky to work for me. The glitter topcoat looks intriguing but similar Lorac’s 3d liquid luster, not to mention 5 dollars more expensive.

I just got this with an Ulta F&F coupon. OMGawd! these shadows are really pigmented, creamy, and intense. I am wearing Dainty, Ringleader, Gangsta, and Charming (as liner) today and have a perfectly simple neutral eye. (Rockin’ Lancomes Scarlet Starlet Gloss in Love on the lips.)
Since I am “older” (according to one of your young posters LOL) I will say that so far these shadows look gorgeous, not too sparkly, and don’t accentuate the tiny lines and slight crepe texture I have goin’ on now. I am not one to enjoy the whole glitter look and passed on a lot of UD shadows because of it. Don’t let that glitter/shimmer thing sway you because I just swiped the “glitter bomb” in this palette – Miss Sparkles and while I used a brush on the back of my hand I didn’t really see any fallout. When I swatched with my finger it was black as nite, matte, with tiny silver sparkles. I was actually impressed, LOL. this was the color I figured would suck too but NOPE. MMmmmm….

SOrry if I ruined someones “no buy”. (insert evil grin here).
    LOVin’ this one.

I actually bought this at full price, was just so excited to have something ‘new’ from TF. I actually returned it and I’m thinking I’m the only one who was disappointed with it! Love the way the colors look in the palette, BUT none swatched that way for me. Just wasn’t thrilled with it for the $46 price tag. Not to say that if somehow, sometime they have a super deal on it I wouldn’t snag it but didn’t love it to pay that much for it.
