Bare Minerals The Power Neutrals Ready Eyeshadow Palette 2

Bare Minerals introduces us to a stunning new addition to the Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette family with the new shade selection in the Power Neutrals. This gorgeous palette comes in a gold plated mirrored compact and features eight velvety smooth eyeshadows in a range of stunning neutrals.

If you’re a natural girl it’ll be a MUST have.

Take a look!

Bare Minerals The Power Neutrals Ready Eyeshadow

Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Power Neutrals ($40) is available for a limited time so if this one intrigues you I do urge you to grab it before it disappears. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the move to a pressed powder eyeshadow formula was one of the best decisions Bare Minerals ever made. Don’t get me wrong I love and use many of Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadows however, pressed eyeshadow is far easier and more of a mess-free solution. The funny thing is you’d expect some failure when moving from a loose to a pressed formula or at least I did. Why mess with an already good formula? But Bare Minerals actually had a perfect migration to a pressed formula. There was no lack of quality, no disappointment here. These shadows are as stunning and gorgeously textured as the first time I used them when they launched a year or so ago!

The Ready shadows have a smooth, velvety texture that feels part cream in some cases. Even the mattes are soft, silky, and easy to apply! And you know I’m NOT a matte girl. They apply beautifully, blend out easily, and wear flawlessly all day without creasing or fading on my lids (a little eye primer keeps them super fresh for all day wear).

The Power Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette features the ulimate selection of lovely shimmers and mattes combined into a single compact with both softer base tones and richer, deeper shades to accentuate eyes.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. • Diane

Wow I love how cool toned this palette looks! I’m going to need this one. Those colors look very nice on you! Btw I agree b.m. Making pressed shadows is amazing!!

  • Aditi

Oooh, you look great Muse! These look lovely (I love that case!). Just a question though: do you think these will show up on deeper skin tones?

      • Aditi

I’m indian, and unfortunately many neutrals do not show up on my skin tone (Naked 2, siiiiiiiigh). Do you think this will show up?

        • the Muse

don’t bother…too many light shades here, get something with deeper tones…or even something with sunset shades like orange/bronze/cranberries 🙂 naked 1 might be better oh more something with more metallic, richer shades 🙂 cranberries, deep brassy browns, bronzes, etc…:-D I always think orange and cranberries are so flattering on an darker skin tone.

          • Aditi

Ugh, I thought as much. Dangit, it looks so pwetty! Thanks for the suggestions, now to head me off to Mac to buy stuff… for..uhh.. makeup science! 😀

Sleek Au Naturel is a great neutrals palette for many Indian skintones – I’m Indian (about NC40) and I love that palette.

  • Christina

Wow, Muse! Very pretty look on you. Love that you paired soft smoky eyes with nude lips and cheeks.

  • Jen_m_sunshine

Now do you you know why I sent you notes about this one?!?!? Gorg…..just love it! Now to decide on nordys anniversary sale stuff. Eek! My cc just screamed when I mentioned it!

  • Amanda

Those colors are right up my alley! I have to ask, what are you wearing on your lips in the pics? I LOVE it!

  • Jennifer

Oh maaaan Muse why do you do this to me?? I swore I wouldn’t find this interesting and I do! Haven’t been a neutrals person, aside from my Naked palette, but lately they’ve been drawing me in, I may have to get this. *sigh* my poor poor wallet lately.

    • the Muse

hehe jennifer I won’t say you need it but I will say you do ;-D

  • Christina

Oh my Sista, you are a bad influence. My interest was picqued after seeing your swatches but then after reading your review, I dove right in and ordered the darn thing. Sigh. BTW I love mattes, so that — and the Muse Approval! — sealed the deal. Now where can I find a 12-step program for makeupaholics?

    • the Muse

hey sis! HA! I know you’re going to LOVE it ;-D these are so silky and you know how I hate mattes but these are stunning ;-D Please report back when you get it, I’m keeping my fingers crossed you love it ;-D <3!

  • Christina

I’m hoping to get in soon since I ordered it from Ulta last night (they had free shipping for orders over $25 yesterday only — another reason I took the plunge) so I will let you know although I am 99% certain I’m going to love it. BTW I also have you to thank for shaking me out of my “drugstore cosmetics” only doldrums and into the mid-range category. But I refuse to revert to my high-end purchase days! Drugstore and mid-range are so much better than they were years ago that it’s not necessary (then again, I guess none of this is necessary).

    • the Muse

can’t wait to hear 😀 hehehe…I feel kinda good about that 😀 I think mid-range isn’t too bad at all plus you’re not having the hit and miss situation of drugstore makeup because I truly believe I can grab something awesome at the DS but also in the same minute have like three misses on any one product…and at DS prices lately it’s almost like spending for a mid-range product ;-D

  • Melissa

    Hi Muse!
LUUUURVE site – long time reader! I wanted to ask – if I already own the Naked palette, do I need this one? It’s a gorgeous palette, and i love me some Bare Minerals ready shadows, but don’t want to shill out the money if the looks are dupeable with what I have in my stash…

    • the Muse

kinda sorta dupe-able Melissa if you already own naked 1 and 2 and basics…however just owning naked…mmm I’d get it…I think it mostly resembles a combo of naked 2 and basics.

  • telle

ohhhhhhhhhh! sooo nice! love the combination of colors that you chose for you eotd!!! can’t wait to pick this up! 😀 thanks for the review! <3

  • Kadie Lee

Welp, looks like I’m stalking Sephora now! Bare Minerals have some of the best shadows I’ve ever used!

  • Karin

After reading your review I went to Ulta and got the whole limited collection. Love how it looks on me, the eyeshadows, the Adrenaline Rush as well as the lipstick and gloss. So much so I need to go back and get more before it sells out. Thank you sooo much! 🙂

  • Maggie

Keeping my eye on this one. I love the Star Treatment Palette but want at least one neutral palette that is cool-toned with some mattes. This seems like the ticket. 🙂

  • Pamela

Now I can’t decide between this and the Lorac Unzipped pallette. I am a neutral skin tone leaning more cool. Can you give me your preference? I value your opinion 🙂

  • Heather

Aditi—-I have the Kat Von D palette in Ludwig and used it on my white/african american niece this weekend and it was beautiful on her!! Just a suggestion :).

  • London

Hey Muse, I love the color you paired with the BM eye shadow. What lipstick is it that you used.

  • Pia

Hi Muse, I have the same, and I love it. I lost my booklet though… Would you be so nice as to post the looks from the booklet here in your website?

    Would greatly appreciate it!
