Bare Minerals The Power Neutrals Ready Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Bare Minerals introduces us to a stunning new addition to the Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette family with the new shade selection in the Power Neutrals. This gorgeous palette comes in a gold plated mirrored compact and features eight velvety smooth eyeshadows in a range of stunning neutrals.
If you’re a natural girl it’ll be a MUST have.
Take a look!
Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Power Neutrals ($40) is available for a limited time so if this one intrigues you I do urge you to grab it before it disappears. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the move to a pressed powder eyeshadow formula was one of the best decisions Bare Minerals ever made. Don’t get me wrong I love and use many of Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadows however, pressed eyeshadow is far easier and more of a mess-free solution. The funny thing is you’d expect some failure when moving from a loose to a pressed formula or at least I did. Why mess with an already good formula? But Bare Minerals actually had a perfect migration to a pressed formula. There was no lack of quality, no disappointment here. These shadows are as stunning and gorgeously textured as the first time I used them when they launched a year or so ago!
The Ready shadows have a smooth, velvety texture that feels part cream in some cases. Even the mattes are soft, silky, and easy to apply! And you know I’m NOT a matte girl. They apply beautifully, blend out easily, and wear flawlessly all day without creasing or fading on my lids (a little eye primer keeps them super fresh for all day wear).
The Power Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette features the ulimate selection of lovely shimmers and mattes combined into a single compact with both softer base tones and richer, deeper shades to accentuate eyes.
You get:
- Boss Lady (shimmer bronze)
- Moneymaker (dusty olive)
- Schmooze (bronze sheen)
- Boardroom (deep chocolate)
- Exec (polished slate)
- Payday (light granite)
- Magnate (nude peach)
- Get Ahead (rustic taupe)
For my look below I used Schmooze on the inner lid and Get Ahead blended into the crease and outer lid area.
The compact comes with a fold out chart featuring simple “how to get the look” eye charts to create using the palette.
Overall, if you love neutrals this is a must have. It’s a perfect selection of wearable shades for everyday work looks or evenings out.
Very Muse Approved!
