Bath & Body Works Summer Chill Collection for Summer 2013

Bath Body Works Summer Chill Collection Summer 2013

Bath & Body Works has a new Summer Chill Collection that will be launching in stores this week. Lord knows I can’t help but keep my fingers crossed for more Summer candles (I’m greedy like that, I want some tropical drink candles dammit!).

These three new Summer fragrances are a refreshing mix of Summer fruits.

Take a peek!

Bath & Body Works Coconut Water Chill

  • Top Notes: Sparkling Tangerine, Lemon Italy Orpur, Bergamot Italia Orpur, Iced Acai, Frozen Apple
  • Mid Notes: Watery Melon Notes, Sheer Muguet, Pineapple Juice, Jasmine Petals
  • Dry Notes: Sheer Coconut Water, Sandalwood, Musk, Touch of Madagascar Vanilla

Bath & Body Works Citrus Orchid

  • Top Notes: Watery Starfruit, Lemon Granita, Sparkling Tangelo
  • Mid Notes: Iced Blue Orchid, Chilled Lotus, Pink Jasmine
  • Dry Notes: White Amber Crystals, Exotic Teak, Solar Musk

Bath & Body Works White Mango Chill

  • Top Notes: Fresh Red Raspberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Tangerine, Water Lily, Blue Freesia, Frozen Melon
  • Mid Notes: White Mango, Jasmine, Muguet, Orange Blossom, Solar Floral
  • Dry Notes: Blue Sugar Cane, Musk, Vanilla Bean, Creamy Sandalwood, Teakwood

The scents will be available in the unusual products such as body cream, Fine Mist Fragrance, and even Pocketbacs. They should be in stores already in trail size with larger sizes launching this week.

Anyone smell them yet?

I’m always a little wary of Bath & Body Works fragrances lately as they all start running together and smelling the same.

These are also available online at www.bathandbodyworks.com

P.S. It’s a short week YES! And Despicable Me 2 will be out on Wednesday. Those minions are my bitches! I had a little dance with ‘em my last trip to Universal Studios which I actually considered uploading here on Musings (yeah, one of my friends took a video of that crazy trippy moment).

I go back to BBW when they have their semi-annual sale, and stock up on White Tea and Ginger and Black Amethyst.

I’m into a citrus craze lately, and thought that the citrus orchid would have more citrus notes, but it seems like the coconut one does? Have you smelled them?

I’m surprised how many smells are in each one, it kinda turns me off. I’m a fan of tru blue spa, sun ripened raspberry, white citrus, fresh picked strawberry, and I think it’s rain kissed leaves. I’m not a fan of the heavy fragrances. :( The semi annual sale did murder to my debit card though lol.

Have any of you among the “Mad-for-BB&W Fragrances” determined which of their basic (not seasonal, on the shelf for a fairly long time) fragrances have the most lasting power? I always love their stuff, but the perfumes go poof. Thanks.

Can’t wait for this collection! I haven’t been impressed with any B&BW body care releases so far this year, so I’m hoping this one is good.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the next line of new candles to show up at B&BW is the fall collection. There will be at least 5 older summer candles hitting stores for a short time though, possibly on the 8th. They are Seaside Escape, Caribbean Salsa, Coconut Lime Verbena, Tropical Spice, and Passionflower. Just a heads up, in case you didn’t know and are interested. :)

I look forward to purchasing and tray this line. From what I’ve heard from blogs, there won’t be any preview mini-bottles for this. I’ll be getting this and Summer Twist as part of B&BW buy 3 get 3 free promo.

Oops, and I was wrong. I just saw a post where there were smaller sizes for the Summer Chill. Not sure if they were preview $1 bottles or travel sizes but they will be available in smaller formats. :)

I’ve smelled them all… And they’re summer delicious… No intense berries to cheapen the collection.
