About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It really sounds wonderdull except the part that says its available in a single, universally flattering tone. Universal tones never work well, or do they?

Im looking forward to read some reviews!

  • Serberry

O my bad, it really works like a primer, to use it before foundation.. Hihi sorry!

  • Jc

Already ordered. Was tempted to pick up the other spray too but figured I’d wait to see whats the difference between the two

    • the Muse

quite tempted by this a little meh on the matte mist though….so JC you into beauty like CJ? ;-D

      • Cj

I’m wondering if the matte mist is like an afternoon touch up kinda thing. Wouldn’t that be cool? Instead of powdering or blotting when you get a little shiny just spray a mist n your all matte?

        • the Muse

dude I’d be a ok if I got shiny in the afternoon! I’m like the Sahara over here…I need water mid-afternoon not a matte spray ;-D

          • Cj

Ugh we don’t get dry heats we get this nasty sweaty humid mess. Makes you feel like you need to dunk your head in water lol.

          • the Muse

soup weather as I refer to it. “It’s soupy outside today!”

  • Emiree

Just purchased this from Sephora last week, partially because I love and own the Dior Airflash foundation. Have only used it a couple of times so far, but am pretty pleased with the results.

    • Cj

Surrender details! What kinda color is it does it dry matte or dewy etc.

      • Emiree

For me, it was more a natural/dewy finish. I love that fact that the redness on my face isn’t as noticeable after using this primer.

I have applied it by just spraying it on my face and with a brush. Have found that using a foundation brush is better and I don’t waste as much either. I should have known this already because that is how I apply the Airflash foundation too 🙂

  • Angie

I purchased the Airflash Foundation and LOVE it! This stuff stays put all day long- I can sweat, change my mask 25 times (work in dental office) and it still looks great at the end of ten hours. I think I am headed over to sephora to try this CC primer.

With the Airflash foundation I spray a soft kabuki brush (Bobbi brown), and buff it in like loose minerals. Gorgeous coverage!

    Thanks for the review.

    • the Muse

hi angie this isn’t a review…just a post about the product, I haven’t tried the CC Primer. typically if I review a product I use personal photos and swatches 🙂 and mark it as “review” in the post title. Hope this helps! And great news about the AirFlash Foundation glad you liked it!

  • Miss D

Okay, I’m all for buying this one too…wait how much is it?
    *scrolls up and looks*
    …Okay, I’m still on board! 😛

  • sarah

  • Kimmwc03
