Lunasol Cool Beige Three Dimensional Eyes Review & Swatches

Lunasol Cool Beige Three Dimensional Eyes Palette

Lunasol Cool Beige Three Dimensional Eyes is one of several palettes Lunasol released sometime ago as part of the general catalog. If you’ve never purchased a Lunasol Eyeshadow Palette before or even seen one you’re in for a treat as they do some might fine eyeshadow palettes.

Let’s take a look!

Lunasol happens to be one of Kanebos more prestigious brands and makes it home in Japan. Lunasol Three Dimensional Eyes became apart of the standard collection in the Fall of 2011 I believe but don’t quote me there. These are available in five shade variations and might prove uneventful for those who like more bolder colors.

The palette is an interesting affair that’s broken up into four shades, two of which are split into three graduating shades which basically means you have eight shades to play with. The palette is supposed to create three-dimensional eyes. The shades that are broken up into three shades are difficult to tell apart once applied even though they range lighter to darker so this means it’s a little difficult to contrast using them.

I’d suggest doing your own thing in regards to application as I feel like there instructions and diagram for application can get mighty confusing!

The single shades are to be used into your lid and crease while the divided shades are used to add depth and definition to your look. The lighter colors are used to highlight and the darker to accent and define eyes. I’m a little overwhelmed at times using this much eyeshadow in a single look and the trick to actually applying them seems a little challenging so I basically follow the beat of my own drum for applying. I used the lighter shade in my crease and the darker on my lid and just line with the darker green graduating shades and highlighter with the paler beige yellow. In my look below I used a little more of the darker khaki so you aren’t going to see very much contrast.

The colors are sheer but they build very well with a soft, buttery formula that feels one part satiny powder and one party creamy eyeshadow. Unlike other Lunasol Palettes I own I see very minimal fall out and any that does happen cleans up easily.

Lunasol Three Dimensional Eyes are an easy to use, very friendly eyeshadow palette with a superb formula! This is an excellent way to experience Japanese makeup as the formula here is stunning to say the least.

It is well worth a pick up.

I got my palettes directly from Japan but Adambeauty.com sells them (not affiliated).

I’d love to hear your thoughts if you used them!

This actually looks better than the Chanel one that is hitting counters! I returned my Chanel as the pigmentation left much to be desired. Off to find this.

This palette looks gorgeous on you! Would you say the quality is equal or better to Shiseido’s Macquillage True Eye Shadow palette? I am having a hard time deciding between these two brands… LOL. For a person with green eyes, which one do you think would work best: cool beige, deep beige or natural beige?
