Secret Key Angel Tears Waterfull Cream Review
I can’t confirm or deny if Cas’s tears are in my Secret Key Angel Tears Waterfull Cream but I’d like to think he sat over this little tube and sobbed his eyes so my face would be moist and hydrated.
Thanks Cas, I always loved you best.
Secret Key Angel Tears Waterfull Cream might be all gimmick but I love it none the less.
Secret Key Angel Tears Waterfull Cream actually contains highly moisturizer plant extracts and is free from mineral oil but there isn’t any actual mention of Cas or any other angel’s tears…sorry about that.
This gelatin-like moisturizer has the same memory foam texture you’ll find from Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel and Dr. Jart Water Fuse Smart Gel BB. Which means you can squish it, squash it, scrap a piece off, poke a finger in it, or drop an elephant on top of it and it’ll spring right back to its original smooth shape after you’re done playing around with. It’s kinda ALIVE! It’s weird that you can pretty much do anything you want to it and it’ll basically spring right back to its original form!
It has a very light fresh floral scent that’s barely there, really the scent kinda reminds me of aloe kinda. Unfortunately, Secret Key does not include a spatula with this so you’ll have to use your own or dip a finger in (which I dislike the idea of). The texture is like a piece of jelly and doesn’t melt down as easily as Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel when it touches your face. So you need to press it into your face a little to break the piece up and get it to absorb. It’s highly moisturizing and has a cool, refreshing feel that leaves behind a slight film temporarily before it absorbs completely.
I’m going to be saving it for Winter use as it makes an excellent prep prior to foundation to easy drier, patchier areas providing them with a healthy dose of much needed moisture. I’ve been using it a few weeks and have had a great overall experience with it. My skin isn’t oily or shiny after use and it wears extremely well under my makeup. It does however, feel like a little too much moisture for Summer which is why I think it’ll be more suitable for Winter.
I wouldn’t limit the use of it to just drier skin although that skin type will like it best. A little goes a long way for oily and combo skin types if you’d really like to try it.
Overall, Secret Key Angel Tears Waterfull Cream is well worth a purchase especially if your skin needs some extra moisture. I really liked this one a lot and highly recommend it for those with drier skin.
I got mine on E-bay from seller F2Plus1 (not affiliated).
