Mizon Returning Starfish Cream Review
Mizon Returning Starfish Cream is kinda the same concept and formula of the Mizon Angel Tears Waterfull Cream so if you already have one or the other I wouldn’t recommend owning both.
I just wanna know where the starfish is returning from. Did he go on a trip? Was it far away? Out of space? Europe? Just around the corner? Don’t starfishes move really slow…did it take him a long time to return? Questions like this keep me up at night.
Supposedly Mizon Returning Starfish Cream unlike the ANgel Tears Waterfull Cream comes in a box with a spatula outside of this there isn’t a ton of differences between the products. Both have the same memory foam, blob-like alive texture that reforms with each use. So you can poke it, dip a finger in it, scrap some off the top, and it’ll basically bounce back to its original smooth texture with each and every use. This is both fascinating and slightly creepy….remember when the jello casually got up and practically walked off the table in Better Off Dead while John Cusack casually watched from the dinner table (4:16 mark)?
Yeah well, I can’t be held responsible if Mizon Returning Starfish Cream gets up and walks off your vanity one day soon if you do purchase.
The other thing I noticed was both had similar fresh floral scents with aquatic notes and both are the same size packaging. Now this does get a little bit of a beefier packaging as it comes in a rather cute tin much like Steam Cream does!
Outside of that both offer the same intense hydration! This feels kinda weird on your face at first…I feel like I’m rubbing jello all over my skin. It doesn’t really break down easily but once it does absorb it leaves skin feel super hydrated, smooth, and supple. It does quite well with my patchier, drier areas as it quickly injects hydration into this drier areas and leaves skin very smooth and flake-free after use. I find it a little rich for daily use so I stick to using it in the evenings.
Supposed it contains 70% Starfish Extract…dunno is that the trail of goo they leave behind when returning!? Not sure….but this is what gives it the intensely moisturizing formula according to Mizon and also aids in improving skin’s elasticity. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid to aid skin in retaining moisture with argan oil for extra moisture replenishment. And finally a a skin brightening and anti-aging ingredient.
I can’t say it’s done anything so far aside from provide moisture but this it excels at so I’m happy with that benefit alone.
If you have drier skin you should definitely give this or the Angel Tears Waterfull Cream a try out!
