NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation for Fall 2013

NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation ($38) arrives in August just in time for Fall and the cooler weather (as what better time to wear cream foundation than in the Winter when your skin is drier).

NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation will be available in twenty shades and promises a lightweight formula that has the feel of a cream with the weightless coverage of a liquid. Allowing buildable coverage with the NARS Advanced Emulsion Technology that allows wet or dry application the Radiant Cream Compact Foundation promises radiant coverage in a virtually weightless formula.

This will definitely be one I check out. I’m currently on a foundation/powder/concealer no-buy until the end of the year/beginning of next, but in the meantime, there are a few I want to research a bit. So far, we have this & Sheer Glow, along with the new one from Lancôme, and Smashbox.

It seems like an interesting product, but there appears to be very little product in the compact. Do you know how many ounces the compact has?

I’m in love with that promo image! I think that really helps to convey the creaminess of their product. Don’t know how something like this will work on oily skin though hehe

I’ve not tried their liquid foundations, but I’m definitely curious about this! Siberia might work if it’s light enough…

No. Looks like Shiseido’s creamy compact foundation. Speaking of Shiseido, they have a new foundation! When did that creep up?! I’m only 1/4 through my second bottle of Perfect Refining Foundation, but it looks promising.

I sooo want to try this out. I’m glad that they retain the shade names from Sheer Glow and Matte so it’s easy to find a match. I went to the Nars counter a while ago but then the assistant told me it’s more for the drier type of skins. It’s definitely a no-no for my oil slick face. 🙁
