Yes to Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer Review
I’ve been using Yes to Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer since it’s early launch for this Spring and was hoping that the promise of eliminating dark spots in as little as four weeks would work for me.
I’m always looking for ways to brighten up my skin and to attach the smaller dark areas I have on my lower jaw line. I’ve had some fairly great success with Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous All-Over Brightener and Dark Spot Corrector but Yes to Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer is actually a cheaper option and acts as a moisturizer as well.
Let’s take a look!
Yes To Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer contains a lower SPF 15 and is supposedly clinically proven to help diminish the appearance of dark spots in four weeks. It contains Moringa oil which apparently is a great conditioning ingredient that boosts radiance with fatty acids while grapefruit helps to decrease the appearance of age spots.
As a moisturizer it’s fairly nice. It has a thinner yet creamy texture with a bright, sunny grapefruit scent that absorbs easily into my drier skin without leaving behind a greasy or oily finish. I think it’ll be a little too rich for those with oily skin and might be a bit shiny on such a skin type however, dry skin shouldn’t have an issue. If it had a higher SPF I’d be quite happy using it as a daily moisturizer. Unfortunately the SPF 15 is a little low for me.
I’ve used this for a few months now, well over four weeks, but it didn’t quite work out for my duller skin. My dark areas are still here, it didn’t brighten my skin or add any new radiance or glow, and I didn’t feel like my overall skin tone was evened out.
As a basic moisturizer it does the trick I just wish that the promise of brighter skin and erasing my dark spots worked out!
Anyone try it?
