For those that missed out on the limited edition Bobbi brown sparkle eyeshadow in lilac, I went to the store and swatched the new silver lilac shade and it is more of a silvery pinK. For me the name is misleading because I don’t see any of that light purple lilac color in the swatch at all. Also I asked a Bobbi brown rep. online if this would be a similar substitute and they told me the shimmer wash eyeshdaow in the shade lilac was the closest shade match. FYI

Yeah, they are. “Hmmm, I could buy this whole palette from another brand, or two of these single eyeshadows…let me think.”

  • Coco

I’m annoyed that Sparkle shadows used to be sold for $28 just a few months ago and now with this permanent launch they’re $32. They’re pretty but I think I’ll just enjoy the ones I already have and not purchase any more.

Swatches I think…in person to see if the price is justified. I tend to not wear sparkle due to worries of looking like a disco ball from fall-out.

Years ago in the mid 90’s BB made something called Sparkledust. It as a loose powder and looked like diamonds. I think this is similar in a pressed shadow. Lovely!
