Chanel Esprit Rouge Coco Shine Review & Swatches
Chanel Esprit Rouge Coco Shine is a new shade launched with the Chanel Collection Superstition for Fall 2013. Chanel calls it burgundy but I think the shade runs more towards a berry pink and has a more fun element for Summer than Fall.
Let’s see what you think!
Chanel Esprit Rouge Coco Shine raspberry shade of pink that could potentially prove MLBB (my lips but better) for some skin times. it’s an opaque color which provides incredible shine, moisture, as well as highly pigmented color on lips. I think Rouge Coco Shine is possibly my favorite lipstick formula from Chanel as the wear is incredible at around five hours and the color stays consistency and intense through that wear with a high moist feel on my lips. I happen to be either a gloss girl or a lighter tinted balm or lipstick user so I really like how Rouge Coco Shine combines the elements of all those products into a weightless formula. You get the color of a lipstick, the shine of a gloss, and the hydrating feel of a lip balm all in one and forgo the waxiness or heavy feeling of too balmy a tinted lip balm here as well as this is virtually weightless on my lips and never makes itself known.
I admit I was slightly disappointed it wasn’t as burgundy as it was described in the press released I shared with you for Chanel’s Fall 2013 Makeup Collection. Burgundy and richer reds are definitely easier for me to wear in the red category so I was looking forward to a Rouge Coco Shine in such a shade but honestly Esprit is a delightful little surprise of a shade that brings back Bobbi Brown Pink Raspberry Collection from years past.
If you wear berry pinks well you’re sure to be pleased with this one.
It’s available now at your favorite Chanel counters or online at chanel.com
Anyone pick it up?
P.S. If not this shade DO pick yourself up at least one Chanel Rouge Coco Shine. You’re missing out on a great formulated lipstick if you haven’t yet tried them!
