Clinique All About Shadow Single Eyeshadow

It’s all about shadow my friends as Clinque’s single eyeshadows get a revamp for Fall. Clinique All About Shadow Single Eyeshadow come at you in super shimmer, matte, and soft shimmer finish with a wide range of friendly shades (and some fun ones too!) for their repromote into the Clinique general catalog.

Take a peek!

Clinique All About Shadow Single Eyeshadows are the type of makeup that both young new makeup users and old time Clinique Eyeshadow users will love. This is a selection of fun shades, subtle shades, and natural ones in a variety of finishes and most important of all an inexpensive, easy to use eyeshadow formula.

These shadows have a soft, silky feel with a formula that’s created for both sensitive and non-sensitive users. Each shade comes housed in a small mirrored compact with a sponge tip applicator and mirror inside the case. The cases are lovely but a magnet for finger prints so you’ll find yourself swiping them down with each use.

I tried the matte and soft shimmer finishes from the collection but not the super shimmer. The soft shimmer is more of a satiny finish with a nice pop of color. The shadow glides on very easily and has a thinner, softer texture. They aren’t powdery in the least and color adheres well to eyes but loses some intensity as the day progresses but had absolutely no issues with creasing. To maintain the vibrancy of the shade I’d recommend trying Clinique’s new All About Shadow Primer OR you can use them over your favorite shade of Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint. This is actually the way I LOVE wearing these….a little Chubby Shadow Tint smooth on my lid and topped with one of these makes for a rather fun look! Blushed, one of the single All About Shadows I tried out used under Pink & Pretty Chubby Stick Shadow Tint makes for a really playful pink eye look!

I also tried a matte finish single as well in Purple Pumps. This has a surprisingly excellent matte finish without being too dry, too dense, or too chalky. The soft, silky formula applies easily on lids, never patchy.

If you love Clinique I’m positive the newly revamped All About Shadow Single Eyeshadow Collection will be something you’ll want to explore.

These are available on counter now or at clinique.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow, these are some beautiful shades! I’m very intrigued by these. I’ve never loved Clinique’s eyeshadows, but then again I’ve only ever used the free ones they give away at Clinique Bonus Time. These definitely look interesting!

I just picked a couple of these — Hazy and Rock Violet. Love them!! I also picked up a quickliner in a brown shade with a pretty coppery(?) shimmer to it. My Clinique SA couldn’t believe I passed on the purple one for it. I’ll look up the name for you. Will definitely pick up the primer. NEED that Purple Pumps!! Sorta reminds me of an Urban Decay but can’t remember that name either!

Hey Cookie – would the liner be Clove? I heard someone mention that its a new shade and it sounds like that might be it!

Ok. This is so weird. I went to check the name and this is not the liner I wanted. It’s Intense Sable and I think it’s the Clove I meant to buy. This is a dark brown with a slight sheen to it, once smudged. But the color I saw and just loved, was more of a coppery brown — this is not that color. Guess I’m goin back to Macy’s this weekend!!

So glad you asked because its still in the box waiting to be cleaned and I might not have noticed right away!!!

That purple is just *gorgeous*! I’m not a big fan of Clinique (the eye creams I’ve tried burned, and I tried a shadow a while back that was just chalky), but I may just find myself at a counter in the near future…

The pigmentation is insanely gorgeous! I have had great experience with Clinique’s matte eyeshadow but their shimmery eyeshadow has always being a disapproval. I am hoping this will be on my A-list 🙂

These look so lovely. I was planning to get a new quad and I may pick up one of these too.

  • kimkats

Wow – FINALLY clinique has put some oomph in their shadows!! Some of the shades have been very nice, but usually lacked pigmentation, even for an nc25-30 like me! Looks like they’ve upped their game! And just in time for GWP season too! 😀

I really digging the Pacific coast. I bought a L’Oreal Hip duo a while back and it is really lacking in the pigmentation dept. Another reason why its best to buy at a counter, better quality and you can swatch them on your arm 1st.
I thinking about adding the pacific coast to my collection. It must be a phase I’m going through because I love the L’Oreal infallible eye shadow in perpetual sky. A unique teal green that’s kind of minty would be nice. The next bonus time at Dillard’s Clinque counter I’m getting it!

I have practically all of Clinique’s eye shadows. Now they have reformulated the consistency and I am so thrilled that they have longer wear time. Thanks for the pictures …they don’t look so true to shade online!

I love Clinique’s eyeshadow formulas. They are super easy to work with, they blend amazingly well and come in such pretty colors. I especially like them when I’m not feeling like sparkles or when I have to look more professional/”grown up”.

I love Clinique, and I’m super excited for all the new things they are coming out with. There is also a peach shade I seen that really intrigues me. Looks like they are trying to reach out to a younger age. Clinique always does great with the formula, all their eye shades I find go on super smooth, and blend together so well.

I always considered Clinique to be one of the brands that was reaching out to a younger demographic.
